ooooh thats pretty Alix. I'm all over the non glittery glitters at the moment - in danger of getting carried away and getting to many similar ones, thats like a brighter hex version of lottie dottie for me so I don't 'need' to get anymore like this... but it is pretty...

Not my best day for nails - I've got two little nubbins and horrible cuticles but thought I'd share a photo anyway.

This is Sally Hansen Polar Bare (from Poundland, horrible formula and I don't like the brush) with my DIY gold leaf as an accent nail. I've had this on for nearly a week Shocked

This is two coats of Barry M Gelly Lychee with Nails Inc Sugar House Lane on the tips.

This photo has made me realise quite what a mess of it I made and that I should have cleaned them up first.

This was my Christmas manicure. It's NYC's Lights-Camera-Glitter layered over Barry M Limited Edition Silver Glitter with OPI I have a Herring Problem as a base.

3 coats of Opi The Impossible. I've added topcoat as I wasn't overly keen on the texture, but loved the colours of the liquid sands collection. It still has the slightly gritty texture with 2 layers of topcoat but I can live with that. Are other people wearing this collection with or without top coat?

It took loads of coats though,so I have just ordered a Kiko Gel look top coat which I'm hoping might take less coats to add a bit of shine Smile

I don't mind the 'sand finish either though Smile

I definitely like them best without. I tried topcoat over the blue and felt it ruined it.
However I don't like pink so ahve been trying to find a way to make this one redder without losing the effect. Not having much luck so far.

China glaze turned up turquoise as base
Barielle Buddha ful layered on top
Mattified with rimmel matte topcoat
Diagonal stripes with essie top coat.
Don't think the difference shows that much on camera but can notice it on the hand.
