I got Girly the other day and I prefer the Etude House, it looks better and dries better. Plus Girly doesn't have little stars

Re: Latest purchases
I got my glossybox the other day too. I think it's been one of the best ones so far. It had a full size bottle of Essie. It's pink, which I wasn't too impressed about. But when I held it up to the light it has a gorgeous blue shimmer to it - now that I like! I just hope it shows up on the nail I'll look up the name & take a pic later.
A fun lunchtime was had over at Salon Services:

I can't believe that the one colour I really wanted was sold out!
When I was about to leave I spotted these at the door and had to go back for them :

Wow, that's an impressive haul TattyScone! Were any of the OPI reduced or were they all full price?

Re: Latest purchases
Just taken delivery of the China Glaze Sunsationals that I ordered from NP Direct that I ordered a week ago today.
I thought I'd try just a couple of the jellies, Isle see you later (blue) and Keepin' it teal (turquoise). Both are so sheer and watery that I'd probably call them tints rather than jellies, and the creme that I chose - Too yacht to handle, is a dead ringer for Barry M Greenberry (it dries a bit darker than it looks in the bottle).
Overall I should be disappointed. but I'll probably still buy a couple more of the cremes!
Revolution has also arrived today from Magpies (Thanks Sal!) and I can't wait to try it! (It appears that I also 'accidentally' ordered an Ozotic too....Ooops!)

Will be putting it on with the most demonic glitter that I have (possibly a Femme Fatale) later tonight

Re: Latest purchases
my revolution and amethyst arrived as well! I am now wearing 5 different glitters
any my nail craze plates turned up. (my Kiko order should arrive tomorrow, its in Barking at the moment... not that I'm watching the tracking or anything ) and Sarah's polishes. This is a good nail week!

Re: Latest purchases
how many hours (fairly) do you think I should leave the glitter on before trying to take off? I did my nails with glitter at lunch time and added Poshe fast dry top coat.
I've never wanted to remove my nail polish so badly but I do want to be fair and test the Revolution base properly.
(the glitters do feel pretty welded on...)

ninjajane wrote:thats some haul tatty scone! whats the glitter OPI one?
The white is "Lights of Emerald City" from the Wizard of Oz Collection. I don't have anything like it in my stash so am happy to add it
Babafette: I'm not sure how much they should cost, but I have a trade card. They came to about £5 each.

Re: Latest purchases
its really pretty. I need some square glitter in my life...
Picture Polish Revolution is on the blog (hoping this drives up the hit count up tbh) but it works like a dream! Its like a thin PVC except you don't peel it off. Keen to hear what Loola thinks!

Erm, Loola's busy eating a bun right now and didn't get home until late tonight so hasn't painted as promised
Currently wearing slightly tip worn OPI stay the night and it'll have to come off in the morning so I will most definitley be using the Rev tomorrow

Will do. Only just done my nails last night though as I thought the plate wouldn't arrive til next week.
If I get superglue on my fingers I file it off with a nail file.

Oh hell, that is one stunner of a plate! I must move on quickly now and not look at the pic again or I may have a 'need' moment.........

Yes, I stumbled across a You Tube vid about it and unfortunately I didn't look away quickly enough. In case anyone else doesn't want to look at the video, this is the one to avoid....
