Re: Latest purchases
Today I had the sparkly new ones from Sal's, Essence Gel like base and top and an Essence cuticle balm stick. Those sticks are magic - a quick pre-stamping swipe around and clean up's a breeze! Postie also brought my Direct Cosmetics delivery with a wodge of Insta Dris; Vinylux Gilded Pleasure (to go with my expanding Vinylux collection ) and Sation Oh my Oceania. Just waiting for a couple of the half price Illamsaquas and I'm all done and dusted for pending nail mail!

Oooooh, hello sparkly pretties! I'm liking the look of the Ciates in particular, which shades are they Jasmina?

Thanks Jasmina, I like the pink one best - not like me at all really! I've looked at confetti for a while, but there seems to have been some issue with bloggers vs Ciate so there are very few swatches

Confetti is very similar to models own juicy jules so maybe not worth the extra pennies if you already have it. I totally agree about swatches though, I ordered a bit blind if I am honest and removed stuff from my cart as I wasn't sure if I had similar already. I love glitter so dupes don't actually bother me.
I like Ciate very much and I can kinda understand why they don't want bloggers using the product names for cheaper alternatives - all about brand rep. I love how quickly they come up with concepts and they do get totally ripped off.
Hubby just treated me to a major splurge so I ordered some more using my discount code.

I went to Houston with work and came back with the following - it would have been more but wasn't much scope for shopping as we went "as a team", which meant going to lots of techie places and few with makeup

The real reason you do not do "no buys" ever ever!

Will not confess how many I have actually bought in May and what I have spent, I also have a load on the way and one at the sorting office.

Ciate
Antique brooch (almost dupe like of a England she walks in beauty- has more gold shimmer, online it looks really golden not pinky so very surprised and happy. Keeping both lol)
Party shoes
London baby
Orly sparkling garbage because I am clearly loolabeanbag's nail stalker- it looks so lush and micro glittery.
Tomorrow should be a massive nail polish post day I reckon.

Re: Latest purchases
Our holiday got off to a good start on the polish front - I bought OPI DS Magic and Tomorrow never Dies (reduced) on the Ferry. Looking forward to a polishtastic trip into town tomorrow, sod the cheese - I'm after Euro brand pretties!!! It's not as cold here as it is in Dover and the kidlets are in their element so we're one happy family tonight!

Re: Latest purchases
Actually went into Tiffany's nail supply today.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Opi My private jet (new version)
5 Star 310 (no name, annoys me when polish doesn't have a name)
Orly Oui
Zoya Faye
Nubar Dewdrop and Petunia sparkle
Zoya Twila
Butterfly gems.
I also bumped DH new car in the process, absolutely gutted and feel like poo. Luckily he has managed to get a decent quote but I think I need to knock polish buying on the head for June so I don't feel skint.

Sorry to hear about the car Jasmina, would it be a tad mercenary to suggest that it was perhaps worth it?!!! Them's some gorgeous colours and finishes!

I will hide this thread from Hubby, probably worst as I could tell he was annoyed but he wouldn't say he was annoyed. Then he was really casual about it saying it was done now and we will get it sorted. Appointment booked for Tuesday though and initial quote is very reasonable. He has already nicked a tyre (sidewall) and I wanted him to get it checked out now I go and do this.

Very true but it is even more daft as it has parking sensors, I honestly thought I stopped in time. I just wish I never bothered to straighten up, I know its done now, just want the guilt to stop.

Re: Latest purchases
I have parking sensors in my car. I ignore them cause they'll scream at me to say I'm close to something but when I get out I'm bloody miles away!
Drive my insane!

Feel like a mega addict now as I have been spamming the pages like crazy (this isn't all I have bought in May either)
£land bargains
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Sally Hansen Insta dri Snappy sprinkles, Diamond strength Silver anniversary, Outdoor girl cleverly names blue and green!
Star nail stikers
Going to use these for nail art
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Boots points bargains
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Sally Hansen Mermaid's Tale - I have been lusting after this for a while, even compared it to my Hits Blue Jazz but this seems different to me. Bit annoyed it's full price as loads are on fragrancedirect for £1.49 but technically points paid so I am a bit happier.
Bourjois Blue no blues and Green fizz, 2 for £8 normally £5.99 so a nice points saving.
Hair shop bargain £1.49!
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Blurry to show the brill sprakle Beauty forever number 15 (it needs a name, polish without names irritate me).

Re: Latest purchases
Those two bourjois are lovely Jasmina, are they new shades (light turquoisy blue and green)?
I bought BL Teddy Girl in Boots on Saturday, and my two half price Illamasqua (Freckle and Venous) arrived Friday. I'm planning to buy Chanel Azure and Bel-Argus when they land in House of Fraser on May 31. Then I'm not buying any more polish for SEVERAL MONTHS

I think so, I definitely hadn't seem them before or in my smaller local one.
House of Fraser will be dangerous for me soon, my sister starts her job there and the discount is lubberly (only hope it isn't valid on polish or I am done for).
Good luck with your no buy, I swear mine actually made me worst this month. I was even going to buy more from Ciate today because it is doube bow day but I couldn't get my 20% discount code to work again and I wasn't sure if I wanted them enough to only use my 10% code - madness - I also didn't want the bows to go to waste if I checked out as a guest. I have purchased A England new collection today aswell before general release, Adina is so helpful and I thought it would be rude not to.
