Lovely - and a bloody brilliant idea I was all ready to get rid of my mirrorballs, but I'm going to have to try that first!
(sorry to hear about the gallstones btw)

I'm a follower too, since before I joined here, but I won't show up there as I "follow" via RSS. I thought that was how most people followed blogs (or maybe it's just us geeks ).
Gallstones are nasty Geordie! I had some trapped in my liver duct which caused me to go jaundiced. I'd had over a year of bad back pain and nobody could figure it out until I turned yellow, lol. They removed my gallbladder in the end.

Re: Geordie Nails
That's awful Jackie! My friend went through the same and she said the pain's known as the worst you can experience. The ultrasound dr did describe mine as "black marbles" so hopefully that means they're a bit bigger and won't get lodged.
...and I am indebted to Nail Wish for the sponging idea!

Re: Geordie Nails
The pain really is awful. I had a couple of hospital visits because of it, the last of which I'd almost passed out because of the pain. Kept going to my GP for pain killers and he never sussed it. When it was eventually diagnosed via a locum doctor all my GP could say was "but you're too young for gallstones". I was about 26 at the time I think. Needless to say I changed doctors after that, lol.Geordie Nails wrote:That's awful Jackie! My friend went through the same and she said the pain's known as the worst you can experience. God, that's a lazy and ignorant doctor! I'm only 25 but I am obese with a high-fat diet which will be the cause.JackieP wrote:

Water decals! It is fantastic when I'm sent something I genuinely would have bought with my own money.

Re: Geordie Nails
I really love those, I wish they would do water decals as large pictures, and you can cut out the bit you want for each nail.

Like the MoYou oriental plate! That is such a good idea!Sally Magpie wrote:I really love those, I wish they would do water decals as large pictures, and you can cut out the bit you want for each nail.

Re: Geordie Nails
It's a good attempt! I doubt I'd do anything decent with freehand, even with a pen, lol.

I got a C in Art at school and haven't improved since. Every so often I'll convince myself I'm a budding nail art Picasso and give it another goJackieP wrote:It's a good attempt! I doubt I'd do anything decent with freehand, even with a pen, lol.

I'm loving the look of that Boots 17 Cameo Crush polish!
Sorry to hear about your gallstones Geordie Nails, I hope it's easily sorted.

Ice Lolly mani!
Thanks Babafette, I haven't even been back to see my GP yet - the ultrasound tech said vaguely that she'd send a report to my GP but nothing on how long it would take!

Re: Geordie Nails
Do you think Bloglovin is something I should get? I'm well behind with the times! (and of course thanks so much for following!)
Re: Geordie Nails
Yeah, I'd say so Geordie. It's easy enough to put the button on there and makes it easy for potential followers to join you. I like Bloglovin' as a reader - it's like a personalised free magazine plopped into your inbox daily. What's not to like?!!!

Re: Geordie Nails
I followed your advice and it looks like it might be a game-changer! I can never keep up with other people's blogs but it seems so easy and enjoyable on bloglovin. I've put the button on my blog and now I just have to go on a Follow mission to add to my daily email ^_^
Re: Geordie Nails
Followed your blog. I think it is beneficial as it seems to be the norm for the nail polish community. I've always used the more geeky rss readers but I guess they're a little too plain and / or complex for some. I have it for my blog anyway - only have 8 followers but then it's very early days for me! Some blogs have thousands using Bloglovin.Geordie Nails wrote:I followed your advice and it looks like it might be a game-changer! Re: Geordie Nails
Thank you! And that was so easy - I found your blog straight away and followed you with a quick click! Very happy. The Google feed under my blogger settings doesn't work half the time and isn't appealing at all.
Re: Geordie Nails
That's beautiful Geordie Nails, the colours go really well together.
