Hi from a new addict!
Hi everyone
I signed up yesterday and after having a browse around thought it would be rude not to introduce myself.
My name is Jackie, and I am a nail polish addict. I'm married and have a 20yr old daughter. Not doing anything currently in the way of earning money but I am a very enthusiastic amateur photographer.
Actually I seem to be having a bit of a mid life crisis. I turn 40 in October, and having never been much of a girly girl (more of a geek, really) I seem to have reignited an old love for nail polish (from my teens) and suddenly started taking skin care a lot more seriously. I've even been wearing makeup a bit more often. To balance all of that out though, I also decided to shave my long hair off a couple of months ago, I got sick of washing and styling it, haha!
So, here I am. I've spent far too much money lately, mostly on Butter London which I love, but the price hurts! I've just bought 3 A England polishes too, and now have an overwhelming urge to buy them all. Before this addiction calms I may find myself divorced, lol.
So that's a quick bit about me. Hope to join in here from time to time.

Thanks for the welcome Sue. And don't worry, in signing up here I don't think I really expected it to help calm my addiction, rather fule it.

Welcome. I'm a newbie to the forum also.
I would have to say I'm not a girly girly either, apart when from when it comes to polish! I don't wear any other make-up
I wish I was brave enough to shave off my hair!

Hi Jackie, welcome to the forum.
How brave are you? Shaving off your hair? I have to summon up the courage to get mine trimmed

Re: Hi from a new addict!
Aww, thank you all so much for the welcomes, that was nice to come back to.
As for the hair - I love it shaved! It's so much easier to deal with and it's taken about half an hour off the time it takes for me to get ready. It doesn't look the best, but I'm ignoring that for now. It's amazing how fast it grows at this length too, I could do it every week. It's grown a fair bit now and I'm undecided whether to let it grow a bit and have it cut properly or shave it again and get a wig. The latter is very tempting, I really can't be arsed faffing around styling hair anymore.
