US brands - i cant find Loola's post
What polishes were the recommended if in the states?
apparently and its not my boss whose told me this its his counterpart (of course its not my boss, I'm not even sure my boss exists...) I've been asked to a workshop in MSP next month. My thoughts jumped straight to how to fit in a trip to the mall of america and get some hard to get american polishes... so what was the verdict on your haul Loola?
I know Zoya is top of the list but what about others?

My suggestion, order them before you go and have them delivered to your hotel
Re: US brands - i cant find Loola's post
The Salon Perfect floam-a-likies, Love & beauty (from Forever21), Pure Ice, OPI Sephora (check online first, my sister said that they had none of the half price ones instore) and their own brand Sephoras, Venique, Funky Fingers (from 5 below) for starters.
I also ordered from Transdesign for delivery to her hotel. Then if you're happy with ordering online there's the etsy/Big Cartel sellers that don't post here, or their rates are high; Llarowe and the Ninj.

Do they allow delivery to hotels then? thats cool, thats dangerous!

Yup, they sure do!
I ordered from Sephora, Pam and Transdesign, all were successfully delivered in a few days of ordering
Pam doesn't sell from Etsy, you have to look at her FB page and message her to order. I've not etsied recently, and was a bit wary of the dispatch times with the individual sellers, my sister was only there for a fortnight last time (she's going back in September but only for a week).
I'd also check out the shopping centre that you're going to and see what shops are there, then look at the shops' individual sites to see which sell polish and what brands. Not that I'm obsessed with polish shopping or anything.......

Re: US brands - i cant find Loola's post
woop the trip is on. My boss (who does exist it turns out) asked if I had the details. That was it.. that was the authorisation to go and book. I may like this new boss of few words! now I wonder how easy it will be to upgrade my crappy old school nokia work phone to an iphone.. he doesn't seem to sweat the small details...
Have decided to order KB Shimmer, Zoya and I love NP online and Ninja polish if they restock. Thats it. Then trips to Walmart etc.

I'm in New York this week and i've checked out a couple of stores for you (ok more than a coupleand I may have bought some for me :-))
Forever 21 have some very nice sets which work out at less than $2 a bottle and they have some nice textures too.
Gap also have some nice colours which I didn't know.
Sephora in time square had nail art stands where you could try all the polishes out with video and picture guides absolutely ingenious.
duane read which is a supermarket chain had almost every brand I could think of OPIs, Nicole by opi, wet and wild, Elsie, Sally Hanson and more and more.
I think my OH had lost the will to live by that point. Don't forget to add tax to the prices when you are working out the cost!!
Have a great trip.
