Yeah her batmans are different and IMO impractical to wear daily, as are a lot of her designs. I'm trying to design something thats unusual, shaped, and capable of actually being worn.
Whilst her work is fantastic, you couldn't really go down the pub for a few beers wearing a lot of it It's more for show.
Re: Clawesome....
for the easter nails, how about pastel colours but make them speckly like mini eggs instead of spotty? not sure how you'd do that mind - maybe splatter brown acrylic paint with a toothbrush?

Re: Clawesome....
Jane, having looked back at your Pudsey Nails, have you got any ideas for Comic Relief nails? I'm doind 'Kidimanjaro' with the Cubs and Scouts (climbing the height of Kilimanjaro but up a lighthouse in relay rather than the mountain itself!) and want to come up with something to go with my fab red bob wig!! A face with a red nose is the obvious, but you seem to have a much more arty stylish way of putting these things across.

They're fantastic Jane! I liked Ghostbusters too, but my all time favourite films as a kid were Labyrinth, Dirty Dancing and Crocodile Dundee. I actually used to know all the words.

Lost Boys and Highlander were my all time favourites, like you i knew them word for word. I still love Queen's Kind of Magic Album to this day because it was the soundtrack to Highlander, but yes, Ghostbusters was up there. I desperately wanted a Stay Puft toy but I was far too old by that point
Ellie loves Dirty Dancing, nice to see actually that it seems to be endearing to teens through generations.

pmsl. I loved Egon in the movies, but he was a geek and I always rooted for the geek. I think you should get him the outfit for Christmas haha
Re: Clawesome....
He is technically an engineer so would definitely worry about him tinkering to make it "real"
More calibration these days but I don't trust him not to take apart my hairdryer.

I daren't buy any more geeky t shirts or I'd have ordered it by now haha, I've got drawers full of Hobbits, Vampires, Dinosaurs and Super Heroes. I'm trying very hard to be very good and stop buying them.

So did I!!!! I never got one though - it was as elusive as the much-coveted Mr Frosty......Jane wrote:I desperately wanted a Stay Puft toy but I was far too old by that point

Oh I wanted Mr Frosty as well! Never got him either. I was also quite desperate for a Wuzzle and a Grumpy Care Bear. My friend had a bumblelion and I was insanely jealous, especially as she was 13 and I was 12 yet Mum said I was too old for cuddly toys. I blame her entirely then for the care bear addiction that gripped my early twenties and saw me with just over 100 bears
Never did get my Bumblelion though

They're fantastic Jane! No doubt inspired by your recently rediscovered love of Adam Ant.

It was Ellie actually....I fear I may have brainwashed her. She popped her head around the door earlier and said "You know what would make a brilliant 'little people' manicure? Adam Ant!!" At which point I had the vision of a cute little adam with the make up and went for it. It's a 'just for fun' make this one, not sure there are enough Adam fans left to warrant those being sold

I'm loving Bob's new photo by the way!
