Water Decals
I was thinking about buying some water decals to try, but just wondered how easy they are to use? And if people had any recommendations for good water decals to start with?

Re: Water Decals
I like water decals, they're really easy to use. I find them much easier than stickers as you can move them around on your nail until you're happy with the placement. You just soak them in water for a few seconds then they slide off the backing paper. I've tried all kinds and they're pretty much the same. The only ones that I find a bit of a nuisance are the ones you need to cut out. You don't have to cut them neatly though. They're in a clear surround but they're easier to use if there's not too much clear decal around the actual design.
Born Pretty do loads of water decals and they're dirt cheap. Or you can pick them up really cheap on ebay.

Thank you! I've tried stickers before, but I do find they end up not quite where I wanted them! Ok, I'll have another look at Born Pretty then - I just wanted to make sure they were all as easy as each other to use!

That's just reminded me, I've got some leopard decals from Born Pretty that I've not tried yet. Where have I put them?star_struck wrote:Thank you! The trick with water decals is to dip your nail in water before you put the decal on, as long as it's wet you can move the decal around. One it's in the right place just leave it to dry before adding your topcoat.

Love them. Absolutely.
I've been reviewing water decals from [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and they're great. You get 10% off on the site with the code GEORDIENAILS (I don't get compensated).

Water decals are fab, and I can totally recommend Born Pretty Store ones as well. Although just be aware that some of he full nail decals are a little transparent, so you need a suitably coloured base underneath. I have a code for 10% off on there as well - LKL91.
Starrystarry, I'm constantly misplacing products for review. I destroyed the flat the other day trying to find this sheet of decals for KKCenterHk that I needed to review (found it in the end!)
