Water spotted nails

Has anyone tried to do the water spotted nails that are doing the rounds on YouTube? If so, how did it turn out? And does anyone know where I can get some of that hand sanitiser spray they use? I only seem to be able to find the gel.

I've seen some manicures done with it and they look fab don't they? Pretty sure I read that someone used perfume instead?

I've not tried it yet, but the lady in this video had the same problem finding a spray like in the original cute polish video, so she diluted some of the gel with alcohol in a spray bottle and seemed to get very good results.

They look great but hard work, I'll stick with my OPI black spotted lol

Fantastic effect, but the way she wraps tape around her fingers makes me feel a bit oogi inside.
