Sally's help Empty Sally's help

Post  Jane Wed Sep 12, 2012 7:00 am

I could have sworn I'd seen a Sally's thread! Must have dreamt it.

Anyway, OH has to go and scout out a building for a job interview next week (getting the lay of the land type thing) which it transpires is very close to a Sally's, as I've had a little success this week with a few items of my old clothes (I put 3 tops in the charity bag, changed my mind and eBayed them to make well over £50 on them! Stunned isn't the word) I want to visit Sallys and treat myself but I've never been.

I'm assuming anyone can go and I don't need a trade card? Has anyone found any hunger games reduced polishes in store? I did message my local one but had no reply.

Some of them are trade only, some are trade and public.

You can check here: http://stores.sallyexpress.com/ Very Happy

I think someone said they had been in to their local sallys (there is a thread, you didn't dream it - unless I did too Suspect ) and asked about the hunger games polishes and they didn't have a clue what she was on about Sad But she did find lots of bargains any way Very Happy Other stores will probably be different though and may have them Very Happy

There's a phone number of the store on the store locator link I posted so you could always ring ahead and ask. If they don't have them, maybe it's time for your Kleancolor order... Razz

Just double checked and its Trade and Retail! I'm stupidly excited now, sad that my life is so dull that I get excited over that haha

The Kleancolor I'm still debating for my birthday, though I'm quite struck on some China Glaze at present as well. Ohh decisions!!

I'm 99.9% sure that Sallys have some china glaze bargains at the moment bounce If I remember right from the other thread anyway Laughing

I get just as excited when I go to Sallys Embarassed I might head there tomorrow to check it out actually. And i'll pop in to aldi/lidl (whichever it is, I always get them muddled) and check the price of the polish remover for you for your blog to see if it's £1.29 or £1.49 here Cool

Yes, that was me. I wasn't lucky enough to get any of the Hunger Games polishes, but I did get a reduced China Glaze polish and three reduced OPI polishes. Very Happy

Plymouth Very Happy

I've been today. They had loads and loads of reduced OPI, like a whole shelf full! Including some of the mini's sets (mini mouse and germany I think? I may be wrong, I know I looked at the germany one, but I can't remember if it was one of the reduced ones) for £4.80

Nothing else reduced though but they had loaaaaaaaaaaaaads of gorgeous colours.... I think I may have to buy them all and bankrupt myself be sensible and avoid Sallys!

My local Sally's was a bit crap. Only reduced china glaze crackles and old opi it was about 2/3rds off. No hunger games at all. Only mini set they had was the opi Germany for nearly £14 Twisted Evil

I went into the Sallys today in Liverpool as I was at the hospital opposite and I was so disappointed.

I have never been in before and they had opu for £11.48 a bottle and China Glaze about £6 a bottle and that was it - nothing like the Sallys in America that was outstanding.

So I didn't buy anything and instead will go into tk Maxx tomorrow in Manchester.

Sorry to hear neither of you got any bargains at Sally's, I guess what's on clearance varies hugely from store to store. I still would been tempted by old reduced OPIs though! Wink Smile

Bit disappointed. OPI Mini's were £13.99 plus VAT Shocked Shocked Shocked
OPI itself was somewhere around £10 a bottle.

Got 3 China Glazes for a fiver and that was it. Gutted because I really wanted the Hunger Games and they didn't have any.

I hate it when that happens.

I have a problem with an OPI bottle I purchased from Sally's all the glitter has sunk to the bottom. I am thinking about contacting OPI about it

I have a feeling that each Sally's store is a franchise so would differ greatly. Not 100% sure on that though.

I wouldn't be suprised if they are.

We have two locally, one which has loads of clearance stuff, one which doesn't have any. They both stock completely different stuff aswell.

Yep I think they are franchises. My lovely OH just told me to order the Hunger Games polishes I liked so I have Very Happy I can justify the postage for 5 bottles. I think he knew I was a little deflated today.

Be careful with hook and line. I ordered it and was sent fault line even though the packing order clearly states the correct bottle. They haven't responded to my email yet so I have to call them soon. Have a feeling it's out of stock and thy haven't updated the website.
