Re: What are you wearing today?
I'm nekkid.......Planning a marathon paint for tonight. White base (Mr Baby pulled my UV lamp off the table and it's now buggered so can't do my usual gel base thing) then some vinyl thingies that I got as a freebie from Disturbed Potions (like striping tape but patterns) with Glow in the Darks from Polish me To Go. So basically in about three hours time I'll be sat looking at a godawful mess with the acetone out all ready to do something quick and sensible instead

I'm wearing a Quirk Thermal Oopsie. Pretty polish but the colour change is too subtle to see really

ILNP - Molly. Had a pale pink on which I was going to pay with this afternoon, before going out with the in-laws this evening, but everything has been brought forward by 3 hours so I just need a single colour stunner and this is it
Must not stare at my nails all night, must make conversation...and not about my nail varnish...

love the Minnie manicure RedFraggleBiker! So so cute. And Star_Struck, I'm impressed at the consistency of your stamping. I use different images on each nail purely because I can't get them to line up.

Re: What are you wearing today?
I can't get stamps to line up either, so I aim for random.
I'm wearing Deborah Lippmann Let It Snow. A bit late in the season for this I know but it's such a pretty polish. I've worn a lot of dark colours recently so I needed something lighter.

Re: What are you wearing today?
Carter - with regards to adding photos I now use photobucket and it basically gives you the text to insert your image straight into the post. You just copy and paste the text where it says IMG or IMAGE and the pic should show straight up. Feel free to PM me if you get stuck and I'll take some screenshots to help walk you through it.

Yay! It worked - Goodness what a big picture though!!! I don't really want my imperfections magnified to that degree lol. How do I make the picture bit less scary sized?

Thank you Sue - I know you like your greens lol. It's BarryM Watermelon with Orly Go Deeper. I spent so much time admiring my nails when I had that on a couple of weeks ago! Still on my toes . I will have a play with photobucket xx

Re: What are you wearing today?
Glad I could help. If you use your phone for photobucket at all it's worth installing the app as you can set up an autobackup option so each picture you take is automatically backed up to photobucket. I was so grateful for this last year when my phone got stolen as it meant I hadn't lost all the photos of me with my Goddaughter etc.
If you get stuck with it at all feel fee to message me.
I'm feel pretty glum nail-wise at the moment as I managed to knock two MASSIVE chips in my minnie mouse mani that I did over the weekend I've settled for a turquoise nail with a silver stamp for now as it was quick and easy to do last night. Don't really want named nails at the mo as I have a massive dint in one of mine where I ripped a hope in it on a carpet rodf whilst redecorating. Until the hole (and bruise!) grows out there will be no naked nails on this fragge!
Pics of the current wear to follow!

Current stamping with a Barry M Gelly (I forget the colour) and Barry M silver foil effects over the top.
Not particularly stunning but it was a quick fix after I broke my Minnie Mouse mani. (the little brown mark is where I gouged a hole in my nail after getting it coaught on a carpet gripper whilst sanding the skirting board. I now have an actual HOLE right through to the skin )

Oww Oww Oww. That's so horrid I feel a bit sick now. I don't envy you having to clean polish off that nail!

Re: What are you wearing today?
Hiya Han - It's not so painful now to be honest - I won't tell you what I said when I first injured it though! Nail polish removed doesn't seem to make it hurt as such but it can make it weep out slightly hence the appearance of the little brown mark even AFTER I had put my varnish etc on :/ Hoping it grown out soon cos it's ugly as sin and driving me bonkers. I've got some lovely pastels I want to try but you can still see the mark right through them even after 3 coats so they're going to have to wait a while longer

Re: What are you wearing today?
Have you thought about trying Orly Nail Rescue on it redfragglebiker? When I was researching it I came across [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] on Chalkboard Nails. It might work to cover it up a bit.

Re: What are you wearing today?
OUCH! That sounds awful - my immediate thought was how much acetone would hurt too! I agree about Orly Nail Rescue - I rely on that stuff all the time on my peely nails. It transforms the tips that have peeled from being paper thin, to being strong and firm. It would fix the hole in your nail but the glue might hurt...

Re: What are you wearing today?
My nudey LD polish from a QVC set mum gave me for Christmas (there were three and I "helped" her decide who should get what a few weeks before ). My nails have also sucuumbed to the let's-all-break-just-before-the-big-birthday-parties-month and are being punished by my removal of the pretties! Only sad varnish til they learn their lesson.

Oooh I hadn't even considered Orly Nail rescue - TBH I don't know much about it either *squirrels off to have a look online and batter the credit card again!*
Thanks for the reccomendations!
