I've got on Jill Stuart Romantic Berry- it's a really sheer wash of peach with tiny gold flakies. Much more sophis than I'm used to!!

Decided the chickens were a mess so they're going this evening. However my OH has just proved himself to be an utter Prince Charming - I've had a couple of feeling a bit low days so to cheer me up me bought be a Seche tope coat and basecoat set. He's definitely a keeper!

Re: What are you wearing today?
Not sure about my choice from last night, but it was a rush job and I needed something quick drying, so I went for an NYC quick dryer, in Red Melody-which I balls-ed up the application of so I stuck a coat of Maybelline Brocades Rosy Rosettes over the top to hide it, which to my eye doesn't quite go despite looking like they would in the bottles, the NYC looks too dark now, but I didn't have time to re-do it.

Re: What are you wearing today?
I couldn't decide which springlike colour to wear today and I've been meaning to try a vertical gradient for ages so I used them all.

Re: What are you wearing today?
Thanks Han. Some of the gradients work better than others, the green to yellow on my thumbs isn't great, should have used a paler green I think. The orange to pink on my ring finger is my favourite. The colours are similar so they blend really well. I'll do a full mani with those at some point,

I'm naked save my crappy strengthening bascoat which has peeled off my thumbs and has chipped at the tips (as well as having gone all thick so I've binned it) and when I get back home this afternoon, I'm planning on starting again and going some form of teal/green either one with an accent, all the same or skittles. Choices are as follows-
OPI Amaz-on Amaz-off
Zoya Charla
Zoya Dillon (Awaken collection)
Wingdust Ocean Tears
Barry M Sugar Apple Gelly

Yes I posted it on ATN as well. I'm hoping I'll get another couple of days out of this mani, took me ages to do.

Went with Zoya Charla on all 10 in the end and I'm glad I did. I *heart* this polish very much. So sparkly and a gorgeous teal/blue/green shift. Definitely a new favourite.

Today I'm wearing Rimmel Golden Hour which is a bright orange. It looks surprisingly nice with my very pale skin.

Barry M Superdrug 50th Anniversary limited edition. Love it! Though it's come out very sheer, not sure if that's my dodgy application skills or the polish ;)think I'll use undies next time though.

I have had a change as the Barry M was chipped, gone for Rimmel Space Dust Total Eclipse. Feeling a bit meh about this one, I love it in the bottle and the colour shift of the glitter, but on my nails I don't like it, and seeing as it's chipped already in 2 places, that's yet another texture that doesn't like me

I tried a space dust and it chipped all over. I thought maybe I'd just not had clean enough nails as I've never really had problems with textured polish.

Re: What are you wearing today?
Every textured polish I've tried (Zoya Pixie Dusts, M&S, Space Dusts) has chipped almost instantly, except the Rimmel Sweetie Crush ones. Very weird. The chip on my right pinky has also took a chunk out of the top layer of nail so I had a dint like it had peeled 'til I filed it down.HanSpan wrote:Disco Diva wrote:Ooh preeeeety!geekybat wrote:Dance Legend Pulsar - all I can say is <3 and

I have Barry M Aquarium Mediterranean on my toenails today and I *heart* it. So pretty and sparkly. Considering matchy matchy and putting it on my fingernails too seeing as I'm off out tonight.

Isn't it weird how different nails behave. I have absolutely no problem with the few OPI textured ones I have, nor the Kiko ones. The only NI one I've tried I hated so much I took it off before it had a chance to chip;)

Yeah it is. I have never had a problem with a textured chipping - any brand lol!

Cirque fascination St
Its bloody lovely.
Its also the shittiest formula I've dealt with in a long time! Unless the problem was it arguing with the base coat.
Has anyone else tried it? If so did you ahve problems?
I am also wearing 5 different top coats!
