Re: Tumbleweed!
I wasn't around much yesterday, it was my eldest's 17th Funny how a pass the parcel and a pack of glow sticks are just as much fun at that age as when she was 7 !!

Re: Tumbleweed!
I was sunning myself in spain (and didn't buy 1 polish ) but am back and wondering what to paint on my nails. I want to go red. but that means chopping them back.
Re: Tumbleweed!
I find that too - sometimes I seem to end up replying to one of my own posts.......Laura wrote:I dunno what's going on :(I went to my bf's last night so I never posted here, I check in regularly but I don't wanna talk to myself lol!

Re: Tumbleweed!
Well as you all know i've been on the verge of moving house for months now
Looks like it might finally be happening next week
So i got to pack all my nail polish away
I might be without internet for a while
But i'll be back probably with lots of broken nails after moving lots of boxes and cleaning etc

Wesker, I find the best thing to do to protect your nails (and I apply this ethos to everything I do!) is to get someone else to do it.
Re: Tumbleweed!
Hope the move goes well :-)

Re: Tumbleweed!
congrats on the move Wesker
I just went for a job interview, traffic was more of a bitch than I allowed for. Car refused to get into reverse in the car park, very embarrassing. And a guy I used to work with 3 years ago (and actually pushed for my promotion and rise at that company) sat in on the interview, so I couldn't lie too much about what I did there - and he swore all the way through the interview. So I'm psyched for a professional guard up interview and it was very laid back with lots of 'fucking' here and there from him. There was the hiring manager in there as well, and she knows everyone I know. I hate the my industry but hoping it works in my favour. And I refrained from swearing, I stayed professional.
So the nude pink can come off the nails, am thinking black, dark, moody. Like the weather.

Re: Tumbleweed!
i was looking at boots last night and now every advert is shoes and boots. And I like them all...
Re: Tumbleweed!
I want some Mary Jane's, some heavy style boots in black (to not look to girly in short skirts with) and a pair of those shoes that look like shoes but are boots that look like shoes with a heel...
I have no money. Maybe my nail polish fetish is upgrading itself to footware...

Re: Tumbleweed!
Even though Winter's coming I need some new plain black flats because of course my cheap Primark ones wore out really quickly, they've practically got holes in the toes! Grr.
Re: Tumbleweed!
I need to get myself a new pair of black leather FitFlop superboots as my old ones are starting to wear thin.

Re: Tumbleweed!
My doctor suggested I buy FitFlops to help with my sore feet but I read that they're a con.

Re: Tumbleweed!
They are expensive and I certainly don't believe all the crap about them toning the legs and buttocks, but they are very comfortable. I must have walked a few hundred miles in mine over the last few years.Laura wrote:My doctor suggested I buy FitFlops to help with my sore feet but I read that they're a con.

Re: Tumbleweed!
I wear nothing but MBTs now. Again not sure about the toning side but they help with my balance and my dodgy ankles and are the only things I can walk in for any length of time.Laura wrote:Too much for me to spend on a "functional" shoe haha.Babafette wrote:They are expensive and I certainly don't believe all the crap about them toning the legs and buttocks, but they are very comfortable. I just haven't managed to get to the forum much recently. Dad things seem to be taking up alot of time & wearing me out to the point that all I can face is veging in font of the telly! Also my antique phone won't do forums so I only manage facebook and emails with no ictures from the train.
