18k gold opi nail polish
Just had an email from Lena white advertising this polish at £23. Just googled for a review and in my opinion it looks a bit crap, ESP for the money.

Re: 18k gold opi nail polish
I have heard that these types of polishes are notoriously difficult to get out of the bottle onto your nails.
Also, at that price I would be really reluctant to use it. So I am going to pass.
I have ordered 4 of the skyfall collection from here

They have the gold one for £18.75

It does look a bit crap for that price to be honest, i'm sure you could create a similar effect for a lot less money

I tried.

Mine cost £1, I figured it didn't look too similar, but I could have more fun with the other £20

I would have done the same, I'm really not loving that OPI polish. It reminds me of when you eat Wotsits or cheese puffs and you get the orange bits left on your fingers!Lady S wrote:I spent the £20 on cake.

My nails were stained when I removed my Orly Witch's Blue even though I used a base coat. I looked like a smurf.

They've had two lots of this on BuyaPowa recently which sold out really quickly and it looks as though there's another co-buy coming soon. I guess some people must want it quite badly!

Re: 18k gold opi nail polish
I've noticed that too.
Has anyone got some? Is it worth the hype and/or the price?

I think it doesn't look any better than the the other flakies out there. I'd be too scared to put it on!

Re: 18k gold opi nail polish
I bought some of this a couple of years ago, I think it was about £20.

I will try and find a picture of it on. Anyway, needless to say, TOTES not worth the money, and I only used it a couple of times and it's glooped up.

Re: 18k gold opi nail polish
Looks quite fun, but definitely wouldn't pay £20 for it! Mind you I'm too skinflint to buy any high end polish at anything approaching full price!

Re: 18k gold opi nail polish
Only that and OPI Black Spotted have I ever allowed that kind of spend, I am a skinflint too And neither were worth the money either, so I should learn from this (probably won't!)
Re: 18k gold opi nail polish
I actully think the spotted looks really ugly.
If I found it mega cheap I'd probably have to give it a go, but I can't see that happening so I don't need to wonder if I'd dislike it as much onme as in the pictures I've seen!
