Hmm yes it does seem like as we're a small group they don't need to notice us at all! Quite simply links to blogs that do not hold sponsership should be outwith the linking rules, assuming its loss of revenue they're worried about. They appear to have not thought any of this through and maybe the site is just getting too big for its current structure.

I'll still use MSE (the OldStyle board is interesting for a crafter like myself) but its clearly useless for NPAA now. It will be great to be able to have everything in one place too.

Oh, and my laptop will post on here! Now I have no excuse to not do my nails

I guess with links, it depends how "naughty" you want to go.
What usually happens is that people read the last couple of pages, then go and read from the start, which is what I did, and a few others have posted they are doing/have done too. If it doesn't interest you, you don't read from the start. Stick a link to here on the first post, icognito (as in within words, rather than showing the hyperlink)
So if you post towards the end regularly (to keep it bumped) with on the other board I've posted this or details of that etc. Then maybe if the old blog pictures/links haven't been removed edit the older ones, say 10 pages back and throw in links to here, there, and see if they're spotted.

Considering how long people got away with posting links to blogs on that thread, it eventually wont be monitored, though by any mod reply lacking suspect that in a day or 2 it will have been ignored again.

I might go and edit all my posts in the thread to a list of everyones blogs and the forum link

What you could do - which, wouldn't be breaking the rules per se - is someone puts this forum as their homepage and then makes an announcement on the front and last page about this forum, directing them through their profile. It wouldn't be breaking the rules as you're not posting a link and you're allowed to direct people to your profile to get to your personal website

What everyone did with weezl('s food blog) was for her to have the link in her profile and then EVERYONE ELSE started directing people to the site.

It's been in the newsletter before, so obviously they haven't said anything about that before.

I think its a private group, so someone needs to add us on fb and ten invite. A bit of a nuisance, I keep meaning to ask for an invite/add n just haven't bothered yet

Nobody can see your posts if it's closed, but they could see you're a member if they had the link IYKWIM?
