Microbead manicure sets in Primark

I tried the MUA beads out a few weeks ago on just one nail. Day one was fine buy by day two I had picked the lot off at work - I didn't like it when they started to fall off so just had to remove them immediately! Next time I'll try a half moon design on the top of my nails which might fall off less.

I found some sets in Poundland today. They come with a small (3ml) bottle of polish and matching bottle of beads in the same colour. I bought some in a dark blue and they seem OK. They're obviously not fantastic quality but they're good enough for £1, if you just want to try them out, or if you want some micro beads in a single colour.

They also had some magnetic polishes from the same 'brand'*. I bought one in a beautiful silver/pink duochrome, and I'll probably just wear the polish as it is instead of using the magnet. They only problem with it was that the brush was messed up. I'm sure it's just a dud one though.

*I watched a documentary about pound shops and the owner of Poundland said they make up brands for unbranded products so that's probably the case here.
