New Season Shades
Femme Fatale's new colours are due out Mid January it seems, this could be a very expensive time for many of us.......

Lots of swatches here, I'll be after Gilded Rose, Lucent Ametrine and Party Grenade (for starters.........)

Re: New Season Shades
Textures, Hmmmmmm, Big news for 2013 it seems. So far I've initially disliked and then changed my mind over Nails Inc Concrete (really hated this, now may have to get one! )and the OPI Mariah Carey sand finish ones. Anyone else have any thoughts?
I'm still a bit 2012 though and if anyone knows of any rubber finish other than the rather pricey Illamasqua I'd love to know!

I'm loving FF new shades, trouble is for us UK girls they are just so hard to get hold of!
I keep ummming over nails inc concrete. One day I like it the next I don't!

What do you think about the Nails Inc Leather Effect polish?

I liked the look of those, particularly the little gems you got with it! Lol Expensive though...
Re: New Season Shades
I'm not that struck by either the leather look or concrete look polishes. I much prefer sparkly glitter!!

I ordered some charms from eBay. Coming from Hong Kong so will take ages but I got 10 for £1.49.
I was lusting after the nails inc kit but at £19 overpriced in my opinion. Thr leather effect just looks like matte topcoat to me. So for £1.49 but a neutral shade I already own and a matte topcoat I already own I hope to recreate the look and save £17.50

Re: New Season Shades
I got the leather and concrete effect polishes for Christmas (both are on my blog tarastalons.blogspot.co.uk if you want to have a look at how I used them). I have to say I love the concrete and I am surprised how impressed I am with the leather polish. Like most others I assumed it was a matte kind of effect but it really isn't! It's so textured and is amazing. Even my fiance was impressed with it! £19 is more than I'd usually pay for polish but you get four blingy skulls which you can reuse, a cuticle/orangewood stick and glue so it is worth the money.

Sorry to encourage your polish habit but they are fab Maybe you could drop a lot of hints until someone else buys you it

Nails inc have been having some good sales recently, fingers crossed they continue them until I have some nail polish funds!
Re: New Season Shades

Re: New Season Shades
Great pics of the leather Tara, the black is my favourite. I can't see myself ever using embellishments of any sort though I can't bear it when nails catch on stuff, it sets my teeth on edge! (or baby would eat the blingy bits...). I think the leather set would be wasted on me, but I'm still hoping to get a bottle of concrete - maybe the yellow.
Asos have the leather sets with a code about for 10% (currently PERFECT10) which takes them to £17.10.

You might have to find someone who has it who can lend you two coats of it out of their bottle so you can try it! haha. I know QVC do a 30 day money back guarantee even if the product is completely used up. Maybe you could buy it from there and then if you don't like it you can send it back?

Thanks
I imagine blingy skulls on your nails may attract a babies attention so probably best not to use them
The ASOS code make it a bit more affordable! I wish there were some more colours I could buy using this code but they only brought out two! I want grey and dark brown leather effects too!
Re: New Season Shades
I've just had a look to see what China Glaze will have on offer, and found nothing that I can't live without. There's 'Tranzitions' which is like the Barry M Chameleon polish, changes colour when a clear coat is put on the top; 'Hologlam' which offers a good range of holo colours but the holo effect doesn't seem to be very strong (Lady S has spoilt us with Laylas!) and 'Glitz Bitz'n Pieces' which initially I thought was looking promising but then saw some pics and they ALL have bar/shred glitter in, so that's me out!

Anyone found anything coming up to get excited about?

Haha! Then you should definitely get some!
Re: New Season Shades
I went and had a look at them all and I ahve to say the concrete and leather are a bit ho-hum to me. However the Mariah Carey Sand effect! I want the purple and the blue really really badly!
I've found someone selling them on ebay reasonably cheap from the states - has anyone tried this place?
