Re: OPI Mid Season Sale
Last time they had a sale I managed to find a discount code and got my order even cheaper with free delivery.[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
No such luck this time though so I can't really justify buying anything.

Bought 8
But you do get a big bottle for your £3.99 - probably works out less per ml than a Rimmel?!!! (desperately trying to justify here..)

It's totally allowed. I noticed the decrease in price and kicked myself due to stupid April no buy, I am convinced it is because they wont be restocking and once it is gone, it is gone. I have wanted to order I Juggle Men for ages but kept buying other things.

I've got that and it's a consideration for the get rid of pile...it's a bit under-whelming .Sam wrote:If it helps, I Juggle Men isn't that great.
If there's any left in a couple of weeks I'm tempted to get Vampsterdam which is one that I keep meaning to buy and putting off!

Bugger. I ordered that one!
Thanks for the justification Jasmina, it always helps I found a few nice insta dri shades for stamping here:http://www.directcosmetics.com/browse.cfm
as FD didn't have many colours in stock.

Is fast drying stuff good for stamping then? I thought it was bad becuase it would dry before you got a chance to stamp?
Of course now I want a load of those instadry colours just becuase I want them;)

Re: OPI Mid Season Sale
They do work well Hanspan, they're really pigmenty. I reckon a bottle of polish has certain elements in varying proportions - the pigment, the shine and the stuff that makes it dry. If you have one that has plenty of pigment it takes longer to dry or isn't very glossy and vice versa. The insta dri ones seem to be high on the pigment and less of the shine but they seem to be even on the dry-ey stuff so they work OK.
IMO generally jellies take ages to dry because they're all gloss therfore less dry-ey stuff, the quick dries don't shine as they're all pigment and less gloss, the one coat ones are a bit flat as they're are all pigment and have less gloss and dry-ey stuff.
I need to get out more.......

Oh no why is it bad? does the blue fleck not show up that well? I wanted it for a layering polish but might not bother if it is less effective than my duochrome topcoat. I have a real thing for OPI though.Sam wrote:If it helps, I Juggle Men isn't that great.

I'm hoping it might be a bit like the Kiko sparkle touch ones. At least now my expectations are low......!!

Re: OPI Mid Season Sale
It is pretty, but it's very very subtle. That being said, I've only tried it once, one coat over pink. A few coats over a darker colour might be lovely.

Would you mind posting a swatch if you get it before May 1st lol.LoolaBeanbag wrote:I'm hoping it might be a bit like the Kiko sparkle touch ones. At least now my expectations are low......!!

Conflicted now, I already have a basket ready for May lol. Coats of it on it's own did look woeful but I will google some more. It's a total bargain on Fragrance direct but if I don't end up wearing it there is very little point.

Not long now Jasmina, you've done so well
Will post a pic when it arrives, I'm into glass fleck layering (I prefer the term cocktails!) at the mo, I think I'll try it over a pink neon or maybe a green creme or some other odd combination!

Sounds good, I am ordering pigments today, Husband has proper racked me off and I want some retail therapy lol. Even though it's a USA order I seem to get stuff from her quite quickly.
