Re: Poundland have stuff!
wouldn't it be more cost effective to place an order with fragrance direct?

Theoretically, but there's that sad muppet in me that gets a just a little bit excited a few steps from the Poundland entrance in anticipation of what treasures might, just might, be only minutes from discovery and a long and happy future in my possession....

I was like that in B&M shop today. Couldn't wait to get to the beauty aisle. Unfortunately they'd already sold out of the cheap rimmel polishes. They did have LOADS of Sally Hansen's but they were crappy colours.

Re: Poundland have stuff!
In Poundland yesterday I bought a bottle of 'Pretty' clear polish with silver holo hearts. This looks to be a cheapie brand probably produced purely for pound/99p shops and the glitters are fairly sparse but I've been after a starting point to pimp from for a while. I reckon with some of the holo glitters from eBay I could end up with something unique and wearable . Or a totally hideous mess.
They also had red hearts and pink hearts (non holo), thought it might be useful info for you frankenmeisters!!

My local Poundland are selling two polishes in a pack now, I'm guessing the stock they couldn't clear. My mum just came back with about £10 worth, bless her.
I have two of these, a red glitter and a black glitter, they're both quite nice.LoolaBeanbag wrote:In Poundland yesterday I bought a bottle of 'Pretty' clear polish with silver holo hearts. I've seen a couple of nice Sally Hansen colours in Boots & Superdrug, but is it really sad of me to begrudge paying £6.99 a bottle?
I really keep hoping the colours I like will turn up in poundland!

Re: Poundland have stuff!
My Mum bought me a beautiful Sally Hansen complete salon manicure polish in a dark teal, for full price. Couldn't help thinking "that could have got 6 polishes in Poundland".
Not that I need six new polishes!

Re: Poundland have stuff!
I think that's half my problem with Poundland - I buy loads of polishes I don't need because I just think 'oh well, it's only a quid...........'

I do that...I'm sure sure I've ever actually used a polish I've bought from there...
Re: Poundland have stuff!
Hmm, so I noticed that my local poundland had the new Revlon Chroma Chameleon polishes in

I noticed that too. They had loads of colours, but I was restrained and only bought 4. The blue is gorgeous, not very duochrome, but a striking metallic.TattyScone wrote:Hmm, so I noticed that my local poundland had the new Revlon Chroma Chameleon polishes in

Re: Poundland have stuff!
I haven't seen them again - so glad I got all the ones I liked when I had the chance! There have been LLLOOOOOAAADS of the opi shatters in every poundshop I've been in recently though - and even a couple of china glaze shatters in the 99p shop (didn't bother as they were identical to the opi ones that I haven't got round to using yet )Babafette wrote:I've not managed to find any of the Revlon Chroma Chameleons in Poundland yet either.

Has anyone else spotted the Revlon Nail Art French Mix polishes in their Poundland. I got these two: http://twitpic.com/dkztl7 and was chuffed to bits. I'd ogled them a number of times at full price, but thought they were a bit dear. Poundland had loads of different colours in stock.
