I thought I'd start a thread for us to post which polishes we have used for stamping and had good results that are not special stamping polishes. Here's the few I have tried in the past.

Sinful colors black on black- good opaque black
China glaze midnight kiss-gold foil finish
China glaze cheers to you - Silver foil finish

A England in general ( except she walks in Beauty and Merlin)

I am going to be stocking the essence stamping plates and stampy polishes ( white and black) on Magpies soon. ( I love the fact they are called 'stampy')

Owl stamps you say! Will be grabbing some of those, even if it is released April - it isn't nail polish so I can have it.

Agreed.

Stargazer Chromes are excellent too.

On a related issue. Best plate scraper I have got? a credit card sized window scraper. My sister got it for 25p and I wouldn't be parted from it.

Also, the Barry M Colour Changing polishes are really good because they are very opaque too.

If only I could actually stamp (I am shocking at it Laughing )

The color club fiestas are very good, the Barry m jellies are good and nails inc the serpentine is my go to navy stamping colour. I'll try the other nails inc as they are thick and well pigmented so figure they should all be decent.

Sinful snow me white is a good substitute for Konad white
Mua black number 02 is a good substitute for Konad black
Barry m silver and gold foil
No 7 devils delight - red
No 7 stand back - bright blue
No 7 betty blue - navy
Barry M gelly shades all the thick opaque ones
Sinful black on black

Basically anything which is a one coater should stamp fairly easily

I only have Konad black white pink and red so anything else you see on my stamped designs is a normal brand.

I also keep forgetting I have the Konad polishes and tend to use what I can find

Also, if it isn't a one coater, leave it with the lid a bit open, overnight and it will work the next morning. But obviously it does feck up your polish.
