Oooh! Everyone's got loads of lurvely sparklies!
I noticed Boots now sells Butter London & they had one that I've had on my wishlist for a while. I had to put it on rightaway! This is Trustafarian (again, please excuse dry cuticles - I've been oiling everyday, but they're not shifting ):

Yes that's the one, 4 down and 3 in. You're right, it does turn out more delicate on the nail than it looks on the plate. I think that's the first time anyone has ever used the work "elegant" in connection with me My OH would find that very amusing, he's always reminding me that I should behave like a lady (fat chance).
No doubt I'll be working my way through them all over the next few weeks, so when I have I'll do a gallery in the same order as the plate. You don't need me to stamp them for you, your stamping looks fine. I think much depends on the choice of colours with stamping.
Have you ever had a look at Chloe's Nails? She doesn't seem to blog anymore (more's the pity) but it's worth a trawl through her older posts. Some of her stamping was so good it made me whimper.
I look like a bag lady most of the time - OH long ago stopped worrying about it - my nails very often outshine everything else, including my behaviour (language like a sailor)
My stamping is definitely improving with practice but its still a bit hit or miss - often better after a few glasses of wine!
I've just ordered several of the sally hansen Instadry polishes to see if that helps too. I actually struggle with the proper stamping ones - they seem to go stringy for some reason.
Off to see if I can find the Chloe blog to cry over, although our connection is running so slow it might be a week before the page opens. grrrrrr.

Hmmm, not sure why that's not turned out quite right. Perhaps the colours you chose are wrong. I used a very pale shimmery colour for the base (an ancient Special FX bottle that the name has long since worn off) and stamped with Sally Hansen Real Royal. I think the colour you stamped with is ok, its the base that isn't right. Needs to be paler, more golden toned.
I think you're right - its the colour combo. It looked good in my head but less so on the nails.
I think it might just be the GOSH Galaxy. For some reason it just didn't do it for me from the beginning and I think all the additions was just trying to polish a turd;)
Might be the first polish I've actually bought that I sell/give away/swap.

I had to go search for your photo of the plate as I though you were having a laugh and trying to make me think I'm even dafter than I really am - that space on my plate is totally different! Its just random scattered dots with a few partial bits of those flowery shapes round the edges. I think I must have a dud but its far too late to do anything about it. good job I'm not really into flowers!

Ah than you - mystery solved. I think I did get a voucher back after the plates arrived actually, but I've not ordered from them since.
Anyway they sent me someone else's order as well as my own so I got 3 free polishes (I did tell them but they never responded) so I think I did rather well out of it in the end.

Yep, it was a dud! They issued everyone who bought the plate a credit good for future purchases; if you didn't get that, give them a call.

My favorite purple ever- Essie 'play date' (I'd describe it as a neon pastel) and a cute little Sally Hansen hard as nails called 'jungle orchid' that I got at the pound shop! One coat of each.

That's really pretty Maymeow!
And starrystarry I love your stamping a bit too much, I found myself heading to Llarowe earlier - haven't yet, but it's inevitable I also picked up a purple polish today that looked good for stamping as those colours are fab x

I do apologise Loola...once that Lealac plate is in your head there's no stopping it. In turn, I blame mishka, she made me buy it

Delcious skittles mani using the fruit and veggie patterns on my new Cheeky stamping plate - although I won't be wearing it for long because I want to try out all the other patterns!

Going to be on-site with a posh client for a couple of weeks now- so had to change to something work appropriate! This is 'butterscotch' from the Ciate complexion collection- really cute subtle gold shimmer in there.

I found it - I have a $3 credit note. I wonder if someone else could use it if they place an order as I can't see me placing another unless they get new plates in.
