Thanks. I don't wear glitter often enough to justify finding gelous. I wonder if just lots of seche would work?

The foils look lovely - are they lots of different ones mixed together? Or just one really interesting one?
I've never had a lot of luck with foils - regardless of what I use as a topcoat it seems to dull them, and they start rubbing off almost immediately if I don't top coat them

The toes sound interesting but I can't see all that well - need bigger pictures for my squinty eyes! will they drive you crazy catching on socks or will you just not wear socks for ages;)

It's three different foils - emerald frost, silver and pacific blue, over a black base. I got some of mine from nail delights, but I'm sure they'll be on ebay or everywhere else that sells little crafty bits. I'm just putting an order into dollarnailart as well - well, you can never have enough foils or glitters

I cannot vouch for everyone else, but the vinylux topcoat keeps everything nice and shiney - so much so that one of my friends thought I'd put gels our mutual friend. Obviously it's a weekly topcoat, but it cannnot be guaranteed over other polishes/bases.

No, they're fine. I have used bigger ones in the past and you could feel them if your shoes were too tight and pressed on them but as long as they're encased properly then they won't catch. These ones are tiny though and, tbh, you can't feel them at all. I've been wearing socks and they're absolutely fine.

Just so you can see JUST how tiny they are, this is 1,500 of them.

Wow those are tiny! I'd not have the patience I don't think. Besides I'm no longer flexible enough to reach my toes for that long, if I tried I'd probably be stuck bent over for a week;)

Where did you get the vinylux? Did you get it in a set? The only place I've been able to find it is in a set and I don't want several of the colours so I'd rather just buy a polish or two and a topcoat separately.

Haha, it does take some.... mentalness to sit for that long The effect is worth it though and because mine are embedded in gel, they'll last some time

I get the vinylux straight from the distributor. If you wanna try it let me know and we can arrange to get some sent out?

I have a few of the mini boxes left (which I think is the ones you're talking about - 4 mini colours and a topcoat?), or all 62 colours and about 10 bottles of the top coat left.

Or if you dont wanna do that I'm sure it was loola who tried it? Maybe she can let you know where she found hers?

Hits specialita No Olympo Ares. Its pretty but its not quite red enough or holo enough. I wonder if I should have gone for 3 coats (2 looked fine last night under artificial light), or an undercoat of something deeper.

If the little boxes are the same have two pinky ones don't they? I really don't much like pink!
How much would it be for a top coat and a colour? I love the look of purple purple!

Ooh go on then - I'll have the purple purple and topcoat. I've read some reviews and there's lots of mixed feelings about using without a basecoat if you have ridges - which I do! But my varnish tends to last almost a week anyway so its the drying time and shine I'm after. More experimentation here I come!

Yup, it was Loola who bought some Vinylux, I got mine from CND Malta (!) but Linzi's price looks pretty good to me. I have purple purple too and it's gorgeous
