Metoo. I think its bar glitter in general. I bought Orly sunglasses at night and have tried it a couple of times but event that - really dark so not too noticable - I can feel the little strips of glitter and its sets my teeth on edge.
I'm getting to the stage I may have to have a mini clear out myself!

Re: What are you wearing today?
Yesterday I was wearing one of my new Kiko sugar Matts - Looks lovely but its ery odd trying to retrieve a credit card! Without a topcoat it did chip.
Terrible pictures but I wanted to take one before I started messing last night.
No flash - accidental but its more accurate in terms of colour

then with flash - its not this pale!

Re: What are you wearing today?
So after a few G&Ts I could not longer resist all the other lovelies and decided to have a play.
THIS is why I don't do dots or any other type of freehand painting - you are all perfectly allowed to laugh like drains! I'm only putting these on as an act of kindness to anyone who has ever thought their efforts weren't good - you can just come and look at these and feel really good about yours!

Shh Hanspan I like them!
I'm wearing Hits Artsy, I need to paint my nails as I've had this on for days and got awful tipwear but I just haven't found the time!

You need new glasses! Or to see them in person.
They looked rather like a small child had done them even before I put top coat on. Afterwards they look like a small child has tried and then wept all over them;)
Fortunately I can see the funny side as I had to open the door to a very charming Sainsbury delivery man, and I could see him looking oddly at them as he explained my substitutions and got me to sign.

You really are all bonkers;)
The dots are splodges and all over the place, the lines are wiggly and uneven, the places I totally missed where I was aiming for are very poorly disguised, and the whole lot is charmingly finished with top coat that made some bits run.

They are fab! I still haven't dared attempt any nail art, I have enough trouble trying to paint my right hand nails neatly (right handed!)

As it's sunny I thought I'd wear a holo. So I have Layla Coffee Love on.

I did select the slightly less ugly photos - maybe I should have posted the real closeups. That or you're all just into weird folkarty looking nails, which really wasn't my intention! If I thought anyone would believe me I'd say a small child did them but everyone I know knows that I avoid small children like the plague;)
I can't paint anything tidily and its my right index finger tha has random red smears where I just totally missed my planned dot(aka splodge) position.
I am now a total convert to the PVA method of tidying - I paint carefully round the edges, all over my cuticles and round the sides, with PVA - then paint my nails - then pick & wash and scratch & the PVA comes off with all the excess.
Only very little tidying with acetone on a small brush to deal with any little fringy bits. Its so much faster than trying to tidy all the mess I make with acetone after. Great for tidying after stamping too - I don't worry about keeping the print off my fingers at all as the PVA will just peel all the escess off.

Re: What are you wearing today?
I painted mine with Barry M Blue Moon, which is a nice enough colour, but it was crying out to be stamped.

Re: What are you wearing today?
It's a Nails Inc one I got free in a magazine a couple of years ago, Electric Teal. It's not very electric, nor is it very teal, but it stamps well.

LOL. I do love the total misnomers. Best one I had was an Avon one called green something - it was actually pink.

Re: What are you wearing today?
I'm wearing Layla Mercury Twilight today. Won't bother doing a pic, you all know what it looks like and it's so hard to capture the holo effect.
I've had this for a while but not used it before today. Not quite as impressed as I have been with the other Layla holos. The formula is trickier to apply. And it's quite sheer, needed 3 coats to get decent coverage. I love the fact that I can add a topcoat to the Laylas without losing the holo effect though, so next time I'll probably do one coat of GOSH 549, which is almost a one coater, and then a coat of Mercury Twilight.

Re: What are you wearing today?
I've just applied Jindie Nails Candy Land over white and at the moment it looks a right state. I'm hoping a second coat will sort it out.
