It was thick and gloopy and a bit messy, but it all came right when it dried.kissmenow9 wrote:
How was it to put on? I'm quite taken by the green one, but I really shouldn't as most of my polishes are green...

Lil' nail stickers with 17's Woo Me. I've been practically hibernating with my cold and the weather, but in between sleeps I've been wanting to get out my old foils and stickers and stuff ^_^

Re: What are you wearing today?
I'm loving some of the recent manicures. Sinful Colors Rich in Heart and L'oreal Resist & Shine Titanium 705 will definitely be going on my wish list.
And Wesker, your drunk nail painting is better than my attempts whilst sober!

Re: What are you wearing today?
I haven't forgotten, I've been working LFW. It will be soonstarrystarry wrote:Yes please Linzi, I'd love to know how to do that.
In the meantime, you need transfer paper - white or clear. Keep in mind that normal printers generally don't print white ink, but that you must cut VERY close and carefully if you use white paper.
Use photo editing software and reduce down to size (I recommend around 1cm).
Print the picture onto the paper and use a hairdryer to blow it dry a bit.
Spray with clear gloss varnish (you can get this in b&q) and leave to dry.
When it's dry, you would use it as a normal transfer; dip it in water for a few seconds and apply to the nail
I hope that helps. It's not difficult, it's just a case of getting the picture of a good enough quality to use

Re: What are you wearing today?
I'm wearing a couple of coats of a-England's Morgan le Fay, a simply applied pretty shimmer for work. For my accent nails I've smudged blue sharpie ink over a couple of nails and fingertips.

It's a novel approach to nail art Shezza, I normally go for black biro and before the polish Is fully dry I add textured tram lines from my dental flossShezza wrote:I'm wearing a couple of coats of a-England's Morgan le Fay, a simply applied pretty shimmer for work. Re: What are you wearing today?
Thermo Trio No1 with failed newspaper print over (has anyone else manged to get those Essie papers to work - I think I'm just too hamfisted).
Top layer with black smudges then taken off with non acetone remover, Trio patched and with holo topcoat from Sal then dodgy stamping with Cheeky plates that turned out not to be big enough and wouldn't scrape clean in Pewter Sally Hansen.
Sounds like a total dogs dinner but actually looks pretty OK!
The only shame is taht the holo topcoat has masked the colour changing a bit too much:(

My right hand is always crap Baba! I've buggered the index cuticle on my left one (again, same place ) though so I may have to up my game and take some pics of the left! Currently wearing a mishmash - ILNP Birefringance on the left, a Mutagen thumb on the right plonked over the Ozotic blue that I still have on from the other day, ther rest of the right is still the Ozotic. Thursday night's care'n paint nicely night though so I can sort it all out later
