Re: What are you wearing today?
Finally gave up the fight to connect the camera to the PC (effing thing) and have put the card in so here's a few shots. Interesting how the colour change is far more obvious in pictures, and how much more I can see things like tip wear.HanSpan wrote:Thermo Trio No1 with failed newspaper print over (has anyone else manged to get those Essie papers to work - I think I'm just too hamfisted).
Top layer with black smudges then taken off with non acetone remover, Trio patched and with holo topcoat from Sal then dodgy stamping with Cheeky plates that turned out not to be big enough and wouldn't scrape clean in Pewter Sally Hansen.
Sounds like a total dogs dinner but actually looks pretty OK!
The only shame is taht the holo topcoat has masked the colour changing a bit too much:(

My first attempt at half moon nails - I wasnt sure these would work, but was quite pleased with how they turned out.

My first attempt at free hand stripes - Im starting to think messing about with striping tape might be worth the time.

Re: What are you wearing today?
I find striping tape such hard work...I'd rather slightly messier lines lol. I just end up with it stuck everywhere other than where I want it...
Re: What are you wearing today?
Striping tape...nooooo! Just the thought that having three lines on each nail means snipping up 30 pieces of the sodding stuff puts me off using it again!

Re: What are you wearing today?
I do striping tape. My freehand lines would be far too messy. I don't mind snipping lots of bits of tape.
