Re: Purely Polish
Really lovely nails for the wedding, and I'm very impressed they are fakes and don't look it - can I ask where they are from? I'm currently considering trying fakes again.
Also what's a white striper? It looks very tidy but I boogled and am still none the wiser!

They're just the bog standard "European short" nails that you can get in bulk on eBay, I file them down a bit to a rounded edge because they're too long for me personally!
The white striper is a KONAD 2-in-1 nail art pen and a polish with a tiny brush for doing lines and stuff

Do you use nail glue that is basically like superglue to stick them on? Are they hard to get back off? Sorry to be such a pain!
I can't find the striper but, to be honest, if you've seen my current attempt I think you'll agree that I should be banned from anything that encourages hand decoration of my nails!

Nooo HanSpan I liked those nails!
Yeah I used nail glue to stick them on, I find after about 3-4 days of wear you can just pull them off quite easily.
I did use to have something called "Kiss All In One Nail Remover" which you soaked and scrubbed the fake nails away. Kinder to the nails but more work, I should get another pot of it and blog it, haven't got the spare cash at the moment though

I accidentally bought a pot of stuff - for acrylics I think - I thought it would be like my usual sponge filled pots which were out of stock but it has a weird flappy plastic insert that I think is for just that so I may have to go for it!
As for this mani - I really do think you all need glasses. I keep examining it again, wondering if I could really go to work in it Monday and thinking 'NO' it looks like I was pissed (I pretty much was but my painting's probably even worse sober)!
I'm home alone today - OH has gone to visit his Mum, so tomorrow he can be the final arbiter of if I'm let out of the house in it.

I'm sure I read on someones blog somewhere that taking a photo with your nails under water shows up duochrome well ? Your photo looks good though

That happened to me with a purple glitter of theirs (think it was Purple Haze?). Whole nail came off on my way to work so spent the whole train ride trying to pick the rest off haha.

That happened to me with Purple Haze as well. Shame because that is such a lovely colour.
