Late Night Club
Quite often I'm still bashing away on the keyboard here until silly O'Clock and often meet up with Baba, Laura and other candle burners. I thought we could have a little thread for posting between 11pm until 6am for ramblings of any type, polish or otherwise for company when most people with more sense have logged off and gone to bed
Please visitors/guests, feel free to join in - we welcome you all and you could meet some of us and we'd love to get to know you too.
I think I'm Billy no mates tonight, but my small people are all having long lie ins in the summer holidays (they're well trained, even the smallest!) so we're revelling in the relaxed school run-less days and aren't getting up until late, so are going to bed later - Bliss!
I've removed my old polish and am oiling up and concocting my next mani, possibly thinking about stamping, but I have loads and loads of untrieds to get through. Most are glitters though and I'm trying to look after my nails a bit so am using the aggressive glitter removal as an excuse to shy away from them for now. Whilst I'm on the subject, does anyone know of a decent/less damaging remover? I'm wondering if using cheap crap may be contributing to my dry cuticle situation.

Re: Late Night Club
This is a brilliant idea, I'm nocturnal at the moment and hate it!
I personally use Boots' £1 remover and love it. My mam got me a Superdrug remover for my birthday and that dried out my cuticles SO horribly. Right now I'd planned to do polka dots over bright blue but changed my mind and decided to use my Hello Kitty water decals over Kim-pletely In Love. Painting now! x

Re: Late Night Club
'Tis a fine time of the night to be painting Geordie! Glad you like the late night club idea, I guess it's like the polish pub!!
I've not tried Boots remover, but have read good things about it a few times in as many days. Maybe I'll load up the double buggy and kidlets and take a trip into town later in the week. I have to brace myself though, Dover's seriously dire but at least we do have Boots left!
Kitty & Kim sounds really pretty, delicate and fun at the same time. I'm still undecided but am leaning towards one a green Love & Beauty one that my sister brought back for me last week.
I've also got to practise the gels (I think that's swearing on here ) I have the lamp and the last piece of kit that I need is arriving this week. I'm going to try a set for my sister at the weekend. I've also ordered some Seche UV to try with the lamp, otherwise it'll sit unused most of the time.

I changed my mind again, I'm going to do polka dots
And hey, whatever rocks your socks! Gels would be wasted on me but they seem really cool. What colours do you have?

Wicked idea Loola and good morning everyone
I'm still up, boyfriend is out playing a piano in the middle of a field (don't ask) and I'm watching Big Bang Theory in my pants and painting my nails (W7 Moonlight, gorgeous polish)!

A piano in a field sounds so romantic, Laura! Do you live in the middle of nowhere?

PMSL! Polish pub!! Love it.
I get up at stoopid o'clock most mornings for a workout or just work, but I'll enjoy reading all what you got up to whilst I was catching z's!

Love the idea! Though for the first time in a while I was actually tucked up in bed by 11.15 and slept all night last night!
I'm sure I'll be dropping in at some point soon though

That's a lovely mani, I love Baker Street, one of my favourite blues ever!
Errrm we sort of live in the middle of nowhere yeah, I live like 8 miles from Gatwick so it's not completely desolate lol. We live in a small town so it's an urban area but we are surrounded by miles of countryside, so it's really lovely my ex used to call it "Bumblefuck" and complain about the phone signal

Re: Late Night Club
Hehehe, me too. Now Geordie asked me last night what colour gels I had and I've only just checked back on this thread. Geordie, it's a disappointingly tiny selection - a pale pink peach (my sister's choice), a sparkly pink for aforementioned sister's toenails and a pure white so that I can try a white gel base with neons and stamping over the top without removing the white (if that makes sense).
Mmmm, just dropped a chunk of rainbow cookie down my cleavage. Oh Lord, one of my children has taken a bite out of a biscuit and put it back in the tin. I bet it was Eddie.....

I'm awake,DH is snuffling every time he breathes so I've come back downstairs in the hope that he'll have moved positions and shut up when I go back up (I've already tried nudging and shoving him )
And I've opened the digestives which is bad news ....

That's the one Baba! It's not only his hair colour that's different to the rest, I'm certain he has different genes. All of the rest look like they are from the same family....
My Dad says his hair is the same colour as my Grandfather (I only ever knew him as grey) on my Mum's side. Her family were farmers from Wembury, and Eddie does seem to have a robust build and ourdoorsy ballsy nature in contrast to the others.

I just rearranged my polishes and boxed away the most rubbish ones I'll never use. I still can't see my collection properly.

Re: Late Night Club
There is no normal with me - I have a couple of conditions that cause fatigue, I could have a great routine going then need to sleep for 12 hours and ruin it! Right now I'm waking up at 8pm
