How to clean out a bottle of Seche Vite?
Just bought a big refill bottle of Seche Vite for £15 on eBay.
Only problem is I need an SV bottle to put it in! I've got one here but the SV in it is all minging and gloopy. I wanna get the bottle cleaned out but I have no idea what to do!
Any suggestions ladies?

I think you fill it with nail polish remover, swirl it around, leave it for a few hours/overnight then rinse it out. I'm sure I did that with a couple of old bottles.

I put nail polish remover in mine and it went cloudy. The only way really is to invest in a bottle of seche restore

Balls Laura, Balls.
If you put the remover in and swirl with either little metal nail polish balls, beads, ball bearings or something like that it'll help it to shift. When it's all gone wash it out with soapy water, rinse it several times and leave it to dry out completely. The brush however will be a total bastard - keep wiping it through with remover on kitchen roll - we're not talking a few times here but gazillions. Then wash it with soapy water, rinse, and see if it still has any hard bits on it. If it does, pull then out gently, downwards in the direction of the hair, then start the process with the remover, soapy water, rinse etc. until it's ready to be dried.
Good luck intrepid Seche top up Lady.......

Although the chances of you having one lying around are minimal (someone you know might have one?) a baby's teat brush gets right in there - the little tiny bottle brush type thing that's often hidden in the handle of the bigger milk bottle brush. Otherwise I'd be tempted to soak a bit of cloth in remover and attach it to the end of a stripped cotton bud (you don't want any fluff in there) with one of those teeny hair bands and wang that around in the bottle.

Been looking for something like that Loola, the bottle brush was what came into my head too. I'll give the cotton buds a go tomorrow, I'm gonna leave it to soak tonight

Has your professional size bottle arrived yet? If not, you'll probably get a nice surprise when it does............

Heh yeah I got it yesterday, it doesn't have the little bottle with it though as I paid less.

Odd, the brush is back to normal after being immersed in Seche for a bit! Happy days, now I have lovely new SV and lovely shiny nails again!
