Re: Latest purchases
I saw a couple of different Orly sets in TK Maxx in Exeter last week. I didn't buy any though because they were £14.99 and I already had one of the polishes in the nicest set.

Snap at the price, couldn't resist though. Orly is pricey in the UK, cheapest I have seen UK was £6.80 on beautybay.com after a discount and with free postage. Used to get awesome bargains from US but not prepared to order anymore international beauties until my others arrive. Paranoid about the royal mail warnings now.
The mini bottles are £5 each from Boots

It was slim pickings today- no a single colour club in site. Loads of Butter London but I didn't want the lipgloss and didn't fancy paying £10 for 1 polish- not from tk maxx lol

Wow! Where did you get the zoya's from?
Went to tk maxx today and they had NOTHING in varnish related at all! Was quite disappointed!

Re: Latest purchases
Used my H+M gift card today!
I got:
Jo is in the House (almost exact dupe of my Models Own Juicy Jules so I don't think I'll keep this one, anyone know about H+Ms return policy for polishes?)
Snow White
Fabulous Nails Honey
and Mon Amie... Looking forward to trying them out!

Seconding shoppingaddict, where did you get those zoyas from?
Also, that neon yellow-orange China Glaze looks awesome! What colour is it?!

I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you...........!!!!!
I got them from the Tiffany place that has had a bit of a bum rap on here. They just had sooooo many well priced goodies that I couldn't resist, and I'm happy to try somewhere if I can pay by Paypal as reassurance. I had no issues at all, very well packed and quick delivery. The delivery charge is a fiver, but it's only a quid more than Sally's and at least you know that you'll get the stuff that you've ordered!
The Zoya green and blue flakies are so similar when on that you'd only need one or the other - the green seems to have larger hunks and is my favourite. The Ruby Wings (from Ebay) are fun too, the colour change on the yellow is quite dramatic.
The China Glaze is called Sun Worshipper. It's the brightest colour I've ever seen in a polish, more radioactive than neon and far brighter in reality than any swatches I've seen of it too. I don't imagine that this would be a shade that everyone would love!
I'm hoping that the Seche white is going to be a good coverage base for lighter shades and my water marbling efforts, and I'm quite liking the formula of the Misas, especially for the price (£3.18 each).

Hahaha! Well thank you, I may perhaps try them - as you said, the safety net of PayPal works wonders for peace of mind!
Many thanks for the CG polish name too; I -love- neons and brights, so I'm sure it'll be right up my street! Must get it!
Re: Latest purchases
I was going to use that Tiffany place also, hoping they get the color club holo hues back in.
I was going to do a big purchase, thank you for reassuring me- I have no Zoyas but I want them so badly.

Re: Latest purchases
I was a Zoya virgin until these turned up today Jasmina, I've had a little play and I think I'm going to get along with them rather nicely! They are well pigmented which is important to me as I'm a thin painter but can't stand the nail line showing. They seem to take a little longer to dry than some of the other brands but I can live with that. I've already have a look to see what's going to go on my Zoya next time list

I also got a couple of china glazes the other day, with the idea of having them under pretties, ones light blue, the other a light purple :-)
