I can't seem to do even simple striping tape manis without fucking it up!!
I tried tape and lost interest. No neat lines for me - every attempt was so ugly I took it off without even taking a picture. I have some of thoe tip guides and haven't even bothered after the tape fiasco.

Right clearly I can't do nail art. Why do I fucking even attempt it? I do it in the hope that suddenly ill become good. But quite frankly that will never be the case. I'll have a sort out at the weekend and I'll sell what stuff I have on because I'm getting fed up of realising that I have no talent.
Re: Swear Room
I can't help thinking that you're being a bit hard on yourself here shoppingaddict. I think you do have talent - I'm always in admiration of how neat your manis look, especially the curvy cuticle bit. The tape seems to be universally tricky to use, maybe just try something else? I managed a couple of water marbles and it took loads of practise and plenty of failures (I even had OH stood behind me banging on about the surface tension of the water and testing the temperature ), and you've seen the crap standard of what I produce , but I did get some kind of result eventually (and new curtains, granted...!).
Go on, keep playing and see what happens x.

That's my middle name (or should be). Patience is NOT one of my virtues.

Re: Swear Room
Its a Debenhams Ben de Lisi polka dot one i’ve had a look at a couple of the discontinued crookery sites but no joy so far or flea bay. Really wanted to replace it before hubbie gets back from his business trip. Wish it had been one of the Ikea ones so much easier to find

I think your being very harsh! I can't do striping tape or lines (I posted a union jack fail last week!)
If in doubt I get the dotting tools or the stamper out - really easy, but very effective. I can't do the complex stuff, just winds me up and the blog gets more hits on the simpler designs it seems.

there's also a fat fingers search for ebay here: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
I didn't manage to find anything with it today but it might be worth keeping a look out. I've had a ramble round elsewhere and I'm afraid I can't find any either.
Is it worth contacting Debenhams maybe?

Re: Swear Room
I followed ebay protocol re a parcel not yet delivered, ordered on 31 May seller est 4/5 June delivery - totally fine with me as it was free postage and they stated other courier used. It recommended to open a case, so I did purely asking seller to check with the courier firm as I hadn't received a missed delivery note or anything. I still want the polish so wasn't requesting a refund at all. This morning seller has refunded me and added a snipy note how opening cases affect sellers! grr annoyed as I wasn't trying to be arsey I just wanted the shipping note and followed what Ebay advised.
They has asked me to contact them if the parcel arrives, will be happy to pay them for it if it ever turns up but I have a feeling the item was actually out of stock and they wanted to see if they could keep the money. I just don't get why they wouldn't contact the courier company or give the tracking details.
Looking at Blogs are bad for my health, always crave the polishes that were limited edition or hard to get in the UK. I really want Revlon Slipper now and I am not even a massive fan of red. It just looked so good in this swatch I had to have it. Next one on ebay is the whole collection for £50 near enough shipped from Ebay - No Ta!

Two months is ridulous, is it too late to claim a refund via PayPal?
