What's On Your Mind?

Trying on dresses I bought online and asked hubby to zip me up. Small zipper to hold on to but the dress definitely fits, so shouldn't be hard to close. Somehow he forgets what he is doing and pulls the zip towards him rather than up my back. Suddenly there is no zip and the dress no longer shuts  

Never tried to refit a zip before, but at least if it fails I can make a pretty cushion.

And yeah SA I've had to get another cage out today - boys in one and girls in another!

Wore shoes I don't seem to have a pair that don't give me blisters, flat shoes are the fucking devil's work

Have you tried that Compeed stuff? My sister swears by it.  
I feel your pain - I can envisage the raw skin and it's making me wince just thinking about it.  
Can you flap about in mules for a day or two?

I can't wear backless shoes, I have really flat feet so I walk weirdly and can't keep them on?
I just can't find ANY shoes that don't hurt me

morning ladies! what have I missed? :)I'm sunburnt and knackered and really zombie like but had a fab weekend sailing. One of the ladies I sailed with was telling me about her daughters polish addiction and how she does stuff with punch hole stickers and glitter and striping tape and she loves Sally Magpies for polish. Hows that for a small world, Sal gets everywhere!

edit - oh and my nails are fucked, going to have to file them all right down

Laura, I use heel guards (I may have made that name up, but these are what I mean...)

They're a bit pricey, but if you're near a Home Bargains they sell a version for like 69p, which I actually found better than the expensive ones. I have them in ALL my flat shoes and they have changed my life!

At least you trashed them doing something you love (and not the washing up which is generally the most thrilling way I wreck mine!)
Do you sail from one place to another, or sail out and back? (I've only sailed once, there was too much to remember all at once and it was too much for brain and body to manage...!)

I can totally sympathise. I have flat feet & wobbly ankles (and that was before I broke one in 3 places about 5 years ago!)
I wear lace up MBTs - all the time - and therefore trousers. I've gien up on anything else.

Yeah I have wobbly ankles too - people think I'm drunk when I'm not cos I have no balance!
My trouble is I'm always wearing little dresses with tights and I like to wear flats with them
I have a million pairs of heels but they're for nights out only!
