Words you love and hate

Was thinking about this in the car to Wembley last night, what words do you love/hate?

For me I love goblin, spatula, trundle, button and twinkle

I hate musty, runny, clinic, gusset and epic

I love... philately, loquacious, salamander and MEEP!

I hate smegma, pussy and most words that aren't meep.

Ugh smegma!

Mellifluous is a nice word.

Always puzzled by the dislike of gusset, never understood.  Smegma, that's just gross!

I like transmogrification

I like epic - my 9 year old niece likes epic so I probably shouldn't. I also like the word fab and I know I shouldn't but I like it. And yo as in breaking bad. Yo yo ho?

I hate star - as in your a star. Hate it.

I also hate the word moist.

I hate literally when people mean figuratively - I know the OED accept it as a valid usage, but I don't!

 Blanket, puddle, carrot, geschwindigkeitsbeschränkungen (no -one said they had to be English! this one's a long time favourite), knob.

LOL. With a passion. In fact any text talk except WTF  School children are apparently starting to put lol instead of exclamation marks in their writing. It makes me shudder. Even more so that some teachers probably think it's OK - I'm well known for correcting school letters and communication and sending it back to the school. They love me.........

there's a time and place for lol though - I generally hate text speak, but I'll admit that lol can be handy in some circumstances...

I HATE nom (as in nomnomnom)  I've no idea why but it irritates the hell out of me.
I like lots of swear words - wanker, tosser, dickhead, fuckwit......
I've recently rediscovered "molish" which I love.  I suspect its not in the dictionary but I don't care
