Barry M Gelly Blackberry over Barielle Night Moves. This was my first attempt with striping tape, and I quite like the effect, but think I need a bit more practise.

China Glaze Champagne Kisses. I need to take it off to do my first challenge manicure, but it's so sparkly...

I've spent some time this afternoon trying to get some of the yellow/pinky staining out of my nails, which happens even though I ALWAYS use a good base coat. I think some of it shifted, but not much, and now my nails feel a bit hard done by! I really felt like putting something vampy on but in case they are more porous than usual from my cleaning attempts, I've put Essie Vanity Fairest on and will leave it for a few days for my nails to settle.

Meh... you can still see the yellowy tint even though VF is quite whitening.

If anybody has any proven method for de-staining I would be very glad to hear them!

Thanks, I don't often do hand painted nail art because I'm rubbish at it. The snowman isn't perfect but he'll do. Not attempted to paint one with my left hand though, that would have been an abominable snowman.

I have no free hand skills at all!!!
