Re: What are you wearing today?
I just did my first attempt at fishnail and love it! Pic is messy below as this was pre-clean up (was convinced it would smudge and wasn't sure when to stick on my seche vite or how many polish layers would actually play nicely) but I will be trying it again. Right hand can stay hidden, definitely a left only job.

Also had a little fun with my Nails Inc random box. This was after 1 days wear so was a little rough on the edges.

The fishnail is lovely - how do you di it? Is there lots and lots of tape and waiting involved?

Thanks, I actually followed this tutorial [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. It's the only one of hers that I could try, the rest are too good No tape (I don't haven't any yet but its on the way) and just using the brushes from the bottles. I smothered them in Seche Vite so didn't take too long - 30 minutes whilst watching tv.

I suspect that needs a steadier hand than I have unfortunately. I'd see if I could get OH to try it but I think his patience wouldn't last out;)

Re: What are you wearing today?
I've always wanted to try the fishtail but it'll probably turn out crap.
Today I'm wearing a really dark green Color Club with Technic Mermaid (love this polish!) on top.

Technically not today but I didn't post a piccie.
Had to take it off because I thought it was a bit too much for my client meeting sob

Re: What are you wearing today?
My nails are naked again at the moment. I have bought so many polishes over the last few months that I now have too much choice and can't decide what to wear.......

That looks nice. What do you think of Barielle polishes Jasmina? Are they easy to apply and do they have much staying power? Thanks.

The ones I have used so far have been a dream to apply, not streaky and come alive on the second coat. Dry quickly and have a beautiful shine. Can't comment for wear time as I change my polish frequently, I can't recall any chips though.

Thanks. I've used their creams before but never their polishes.

Re: What are you wearing today?
I'm a Barielle fan. I have a few and have just bought buddha-ful, it's quite a departure from the glitz and brights I usually go for.
I'm afraid I can't comment on the wear time either though, no matter what I put on I usually twank it on something within a day

Galentines day fishtails, which started to chip in the cinema last night so they were off as soon as I got home.

And today I am sporting my Valentine hearts (minus the thumb, as topcoat smeared the glitter all over!)
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
have been doodling hubby's initial into the hearts and covering up the tip wear with red stripes, which I'll try to remember to photograph.

I really wanted that polish when I saw it, haven't seen it in sally yet, did u get it online?
Yeah, I got it from Littlewoods. Only place I could find it at the time They had loads of polish too, difficult to resist just buying one of everything and maxing out my credit on it

You've tempted me now as I have an account and want a bit if retail therapy I can spread out lol. I used to get Nicole by opi from them as they price wasn't much higher than other retailers and free shipping won me over, it's very dear for the Opi bottles though.

They can be expensive but I like that they have a decent range that can be spread out over 20 weeks if necessary, and the free delivery is obviously a bonus. I've had quite a few off them recently.

I was definitely tempted- tried to do some shopping from there this morning and I couldn't be bothered. I will search for hours though for polish.
