Latest purchases

I went to town the other day and bought just one polish. Baby Bellini by Rimmel.

Though I went into a newsagent and had to buy something extra so I could use my card, and picked up Top of the Pops magazine, which had some nail freebies: two small polishes, some 'caviar' beads, some small pink 'glequins' and some blue flakes, which I can't wait to use.

I also forgot I bought China Glaze Whirled Away on eBay last week too. I'm going to have lots of nail mail when I get back to Devon on Wednesday!

I bought Baby Bellini last week too Muffy! I love it on, but I had a helluva job with it as it dries so quickly and I'm a thin coater! I slapped some budget red flakies (Ruby Rays , Maybelline Colorama) and it went boom. Then I kept going with a coat of Color Club Covered in Diamonds and then it went Ka-boom I have a (poor quality) pic somewhere, I'll see if I can find it.

I put green flakes on mine, Hits Valsa. It looked pretty good. I think it looks nice on its own too.

My OPI Liquid Sand minis arrived today, I have the blue (Get Your Number, I think) on now.

Oh, and now I totally want Ruby Rays.

Muffy, I bought my Ruby Rays on eBay last week, it was £1.20 delivered! I actually bought three (all the seller had) as I saw on blogs that these are hard to come by and thought they'd be safer in my grasp than someone who'd spot them and flog 'em on for a profit. If you want one I reckon I'd get one in a letter sized jiffy for just the quid I paid and the stamp cost (I have no idea how much a stamp costs though!).

No problem Muffy and Babafette, PM me your addresses (I think have them both somewhere but it'll take me a while to find them) and I'll bung 'em in the post. I'll let you know how much the postage is once they've gone, I'm not sure if the Jiffies are letter or large letter, but it'll only be the exact cost.
I went for extreme layering last night, I wanted fairy nails.....wait for it........
2 coats of Inglot aqua-ey pearl, one coat of Paul & Joe shimmery pink sheer, one coat of Kiko sparkly microglitter amethyst, one coat of ruby rays, one coat of pink pinata (ruby rays' little pink sister), one coat of Paul & Joe Parisian night all topped off with Seche. Jeez, that looks worse written down, 8 layers in total. It hasn't cracked yet!

Eight layers?!? That beats my Christmas manicure when I had six I think.

No problem Babafette, I think I probably have few others going in the sale pile, and a couple have sold on eBay - if there's anything you fancy just let me know and I'll tell you if I still have it x

I'll add any extras that I have on the bottom later on, I don't think there's anything thrilling though!

I went into town this morning and bought a Butter London Rosie Lee Lips & Tips set from TK Maxx reduced to £5.00. That's cheered me up a bit.

Eek my first sally mail came today, hubby text me at work to say a parcel had been delivered and the last hour dragged so bad! Me and a friend did a combined order so I received cirque facination street and layla emerald divine

Have just put cirque on!

I'm supposed to be on a no-buy, but today I bought two polishes. They were each under £2 and one was a topcoat though so it's not too bad.
The non-topcoat one is Water Street Blue by NYC because I didn't have that kind of plain creme blue but looking at my polishes now I think I may have dreamt that I didn't have any. Though I don't think I have this shade so all is not lost.

I have an order from Magpies on its way too, oops.

The first two were always out of stock when I went to buy them before so yay!
I actually intended to get a green or purple holo but none were in stock so I got the pink.
