Where to find Jill stuart
LoolaBeanbag wrote:That's one helluva bottle mayMeow!! I've not heard of Jill Stuart at all - will have a little google!
Edit: My wallet just gave a little cry for mercy - this is one pretty range! Where are they available from/ship to the UK mayMeow?
Unfortunately they're super hard to get hold of I think they have counters in Japan, Hong Kong and Tiawan. I heard rumors of one in new york (which is where the designer is from), but no solid evidence. I got my first one on holiday in Japan, one for a ridiculous amount of money in a little Asian beauty shop in China town behind Leicester square (they have Anna Sui ones there as well, which are equally pretty) and the rest have been ebays. If you're lucky you can pick one up for about £12 shipped- which is not so bad as they're about 11 new. Ooo! Yesstyle.co.uk usually have them for reasonable money- but I haven't bought from there yet.
I am totally obsessed with these mainly because they smell like irises when dry (even through topcoat). The colours are mainly very pinky and girly, generally quite sheer- but they apply like a dream. I'd seriously consider trading in my whole collection (coming on 400 polishes) for the whole range of these :3

Thanks Lady S, I can't find much info and I doubt a huge company like that with megaloads of commercial orders will get back to a lone polish nut, and I won't hold it against them!
I'll keep stalking the eshops and googlin' the dates...!
They did get back to me!!
JULY!!!! ****ING JULY!
The info I had read all indicated April. I am seriously miffed that we're looking at another four months for what is supposed to be their Summer collection . If we do get a Summer, it'll be all over by the time these hit the stores.... gah....

They were. I'm afraid I was lured by the price of the Zoyas and gave them a go, even with their high delivery charge. I've used them a couple of times with no probs.

I have already marked the date in my calendar for the Wizard of Oz collection release date. I haven't decided if I want all 7 bottles, just the glitters or a mix & match. This is why March is perfect for mothers' day hinty hint hint. What will probably happen is my husband will forget about it and just offer to pay for whatever I have recently bought myself, so romantic!
I did hint at him and the kids baking/making me something but it probably fell on deaf ears.

It is particularly lovely, I think it's the lilac glitter that makes it so unique. I reckon you could get similar effect layering with the chit chat/technics range but not sure if they have a lilac glitter.

That is quite close, might have a look see in person, my sister would love it but she wouldn't pay OPI prices.
Ha ha wonder if I can convince my husband the cat counts as well for a gift.

Just half a dozen !
I'm after more NFU Ohs, should set him back a few quid!
The Beauty UK one's not a bad alternative Jasmina, it's not as well loaded with glitter as I'd imagine the OPI is (as you'd expect for the price) but I only half fancied Polka so this one suits me fine, and suits my wallet better!

Re: Latest purchases
its nearly been a week since my last polish purchase. I think I am experiencing withdrawal though - I have purchased some new cheeky nail plates tho. But no polish.
Re: Latest purchases
Well no buy February went really well. However the same can NOT be said of March
This is what I've bought so far, plus the OPI liquid sands minis that are yet to arrive
That's my nail varnish shopping for the rest of the month, and maybe April too...

Re: Latest purchases
Yesterday I bought Nails Inc Houses of Parliament Magnetic Effect Polish from a local charity shop, Barry M Textured polish in Ridley Road and Atlantic Road and an Outdoor Girl green polish from Poundland.
As you can see, my no-buy is going exceptionally well.
