Re: Latest purchases
I find myself drawn to swatches of O'hare - it is one stunning looking polish. Its gonna have to go on the wish list.
Re: Latest purchases
Wesker, I went into the factory shop today, my first trip to Deal in ages and I froze my bits off!
Anyway, I found quite a few W7s, some Sinfuls and Essie Chromes, they also had boxed Essie treatment thingies for £3. I also picked up some £1 bottles of clear in case I feel the urge to try jellying again and I found some fab polish sized storage drawer towers too.
Thanks for the tip, I had a great little snuffle around in there!

lol I've just spent 1/2 an hour talking myself out of a trip to Peckham!
Re: Latest purchases
Haha, best not, what if it's not open on a Sunday :p
I reduced it to £19...I got the OPI Euro Centrale Minis and Lights of Emerald City (have you seen it?? Square glitter, aaaaahhh!!). I decided against the Mariah Carey mini set and a Barry M textured polish, seeing as I haven't actually liked any swatches that I've seen of them...

Re: Latest purchases
open Sundays - closed Saturdays but I am not going - have decided sensibly to wait till they get some more of the spring collections in am going dress (window) shopping instead!
Emeralds is really cute - that's going to look amazing on certain colours! I can't decide if I like When Monkeys fly or not...

Re: Latest purchases
I think When Monkeys Fly looks amazing, but from reviews I've read the large glitters curl quite badly Otherwise I'd definitely have bought it!

That's funny because I've been quietly planning when I might be able to zip over there myself!!ninjajane wrote:lol I've just spent 1/2 an hour talking myself out of a trip to Peckham!

just remember they closed on a Sat!
So my dress shopping didn't go well...
I went into Tkmax - wow that place sells all sorts! So I came out with a Nail's inc Mini colours collection for £12, an Essie trio collection full sizes - mojito madness, over the shoulder and teeny bikini (which I have but its well used) for £10! (they £10 each on eBay!) some nail art glitter and elegant touch cuticle remover. It was nearly as good as going to Peckham (and I got some Tigi stuff and some sailing gloves) They had a Butter London gold glitter and some Leighton Denny collections - I was very impressed with what they sell. But the moral of the story is, that when I have a quiet weekend to save money I just get bored and go shopping happy with the haul though.

I thought the glitters looked curled in the bottle and promo shots! I was quite excited about these, but my excitement faded somewhat when I had a closer look. I love the name Lights of Emerald City, but the white squares looked to be uneven sizes, sparse and a bit big really. The curly glitter put me off the monkey one (and again it looked a bit sparse) and the sparkly silver one looked too much like several that I already have. The liquid sand looks OK, but not the prettiest of colours. If I cave, it will be for the silver one I think. I'd love to hear what everyone thinks of the ones they've gone for

Anniversary treats from my husband, (Letting me have them early too)
Order from Tiffanynailsupplies
Zoya -Aurora, mimi,zara & Chloe
OPI Princess rules & Anti-bleak
The OPI Anti-bleak isn't staying, the one I wanted was out of stock and she got confused with the purple I actually wanted. Hopefully she has the colour I want in stock and the exchange isn't too complicated, between emails she didn't explain how it worked, certainly wont be paying the mega postage for a new one to be sent plus recorded shipping for what I want, not worth it for the price I actually paid.
They all seem genuine items which I was worried about due to the price, I have had fake OPI from eBay before and you could tell, I asked if they were seconds because I didn't want to outright accuse her. Luckily seller gave full refund and refund for postage. Reckons it hadn't happened before but after my experience more negative feedback appeared for the same thing.

I don't suppose they had any of the China Glaze neon jellies at the trade show? I've never wanted a polish so badly before. I actually emailed China Glaze today to ask exactly when they're out!!

Oooh, thanks for the pic Jasmina! I've spent weeks dithering over whether to go for Zoya Danii or Zara, and had settled on Danii. Not any more, Zara looks fab! I have Aurora and Chloe, and the Opi one too, we must have similar great taste!
With regard to the customer service from Tiffany, I've had no problems. I placed one order on a Sunday and they emailed to say one item (a Misa) was out of stock and asked if I'd like to change the shade. I had a look and didn't really want any of the others so when they phoned up I asked if it was possible to change it to Zoya and pay the difference. They checked stock, said it was fine and that I didn't have to pay any extra as it was their error. I know it was only a couple of quid, but that's great service in my book!

What range are the neon jellies hon?
Re: Latest purchases
That's fab loolabeanbag, they did ring me pretty quickly to say it was out of stock. I ordered the blue one not Chloe but I wanted Chloe but stock level said zero. Can definitely see it being a favourite place to buy certain polishes from. Even with shipping spread across my order each bottle was a lot cheaper than other retailers.

Neons on the Shore. Supposed to be out in April, but most ranges do seem to touch down a little bit before the official launch dates.

Thanks Lady S, I can't find much info and I doubt a huge company like that with megaloads of commercial orders will get back to a lone polish nut, and I won't hold it against them!
I'll keep stalking the eshops and googlin' the dates...!
