Me too. I get great pleasure embarrassing my children, especially when I bend over and flash the top of my pants

Re: Latest purchases
Why thank you for the welcome back Baba! Here's the haul.......
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Here's a few close ups of some of the more interesting ones:
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Annys. I'm wearing Crazy Shot today, it was a sod to put on but I love it.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Cheap'n cheerful Hemas. These were between 2.50 and 3.75 Euros depending on whether they were Chameleon, Holo (very faint) glitter, crème etc.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Da. These were 2 Euros and are really good value. The deep pinky one on the end was a nice surprise when I swatched it - it's actually a black polish with loads of tiny magenta glitters.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Heromes. These are usually 6.50 Euros each, but I scoured the bargain tub and these were 5 Euros for all three. They are Frankreich, Marseilles and Toulouse. The two on the right are sparkletastic, the goldy one (Marseilles) has loads of gold, bronze and blue microglitter.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Some more Hemas.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Now this one you can get from Magpies It's Essence Space Queen (I think it's called).
These were waiting for me when I got home:

Illamasquas in Séance and Omen (the Paranormal UV ones), and a H&M blue.

Haha My OH is such a shop snob. He dislikes TKMaxx, refuses to go in Primark and is mortified when I insist on doing poundland. I can't resist going in just to get him going;)

Wowsers Hanspan! Love this little lot, that sugar mat's sparkly!
Let us know how you go with the Vinylux, I couldn't get it to last more than two days but I still like the formula so will stick with them, am going to have a go at stamping them.
That ice cream is damn cute too..........

Have you got it on order? It was jolly hard to find that colour in stock anywhere unless I wanted the set of 4.

Re: Latest purchases
How long do things normally last on you? I've had the Vinylux top coat on over this crazy pattern of sugar mattes since late Fruday night and it seems fine, very little tip wear on my left index from doing somehting daft last night so I put a little more topcoat on but the rest is fine.LoolaBeanbag wrote:

But mine usually lasts 4 days with seche vite and normal polish anyway.

Re: Latest purchases
I can usually only get three days tops out of a mani, dark colours seem to show tipwear within hours even with tips wrapped in Seche. I also tried the Vinlyux on my sister and she also managed two days but she was seriously abusing her nails - cleaning tack, gardening etc.
Go on, what was the daftness?!!

Trying to pick the remnants of polish off my toes with my fingernails. Innefective on the toes but made the end of my index finger wear off! Fortunately no chipping so my tip wear cure worked - I just file my nails back a little so the tips are hidden again! I find tip wrapping makes mine last much less becuase I hate the feeling and keep rubbing them so I end up taking chips off.

Re: Latest purchases
nice haul
The neons are hit and miss - patchy to apply, Isle see you later is a complete waste of a polish.
I found a fab blog review, but can't find it again - that compared the sunsationals to previous CG's polishes that they had just added some neon too and make the formula rubbish.
My review - [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Princess S's review - [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
My opinion is your'll find better neons elsewhere and my opinion is completely tainted and impared by CG's shocking customer service. So you might want to listen to someone else as well

Re: Latest purchases
I'm with Ninjajane on the CG Jellies annita, barely tinted and you'd need a stupid number of coats (my guess would be 6 - to get anywhere near the colour in the bottle. They're watery and fairly useless. The crèmes are OK, but nothing special. They don't come close to turned up turquoise (my favourite neon ever!) in terms of finish, brightness or coverage so I'd buy a bottle of that instead!
Lovely haul there annita, what are the sparklies on the right?

OK, not the most sensible of ways to look after your mani (says the woman who put her nails in the toaster to see the effect of the colour change polish...........)
