might be worth emailing her to see how she got to be a Barry M blogger?...
I was contacted by the person in charge, she said she loved my blog and asked if I would be interested in becoming an official blogger for BarryM, of course that was a no-brainer!
OMG...... You're really on our little forum?! Completely love your blog! I bow down to you!!!

I'm not sure, but there's no harm in contacting them to ask! Just go to their website and there should be an email for you to contact

Welcome! And thanks for the info - I thought that would be the case. I know some bloggers do ask cosmetic companies for samples but that seems to me like it comes off as either the blogger is very conceited or is just begging for free stuff. I don't want to appear either; I'm happy to buy stuff to blog about. Then I can be as rude as I like when I don't like the products

And for that, I salute you! (and have confidence in the honesty of your blog. It makes a difference - although I'd like to think I can spot a blogblagger by the gushing reviews of each and every product...!)

Re: Barry M Sequin Nails
Sequin polishes available online from Superdrug now
Seem to be the only polishes excluded from the 3 for 2 despite the offers page saying '3 for 2 on ALL Barry M Nail'.......... (They put the 'ALL' in caps, not me!!)

I might have accidentally ordered them all. This is your fault Loola, for highlighting availability to me

I don't know why I've ordered the black one either, as I'm convinced it's the same as Gold Mine, but we will see. I can't order 2 out of 3, it makes me twitchy with incompleteness
Re: Barry M Sequin Nails
I'm itching to get my hands on the white one........ Does anybody know if the 3 for 2 is on in store at Superdrug?

Re: Barry M Sequin Nails
I don't know Baba, I haven't seeen them in store yet, I ordered them online. now, I have them in my grubby mitts
The black one (which I thought was a very similar version of gold mine) is not as nice as gold mine, I've splodged some onto paper (will swatch properly later) and it's like they've all got gritty textured stuff in them though which is odd, might be different on the nail though.

Jeez, that was quick!
They're not quite what I was hoping for from the first peek on the paper. Will look out for your swatches later, but thanks for the initial pic

Thanks for the photos Princess Sossidge. I must admit I'm a bit underwhelmed by the polishes at the moment too, hopefully they'll look better when on nails.

Re: Barry M Sequin Nails
Thanks for swatches. So, does the white sequins actually show up as a white base on the nails? It's hard to tell against the white paper.

Re: Barry M Sequin Nails
With the white it is a white base but it looks quite thin so I think I'll white basecoat first, in that there's red, yellow, green, blue and silver, and then some small white gritty stuff, like sand that is white. Same for the pink (but replace the white gritty with pink gritty) and the black is black gritty with gold glitter. I'm a bit underwhelmed too, hopefully they are better on actual nails.

Slightly disappointed by those pictures, I thought the white would be close to china glaze I'm a trap-eze but with texture and it doesn't look like it. They look so different swatched compared to the bottle shots. Thankyou for posting these, will wait for the nail piccies too but I might not go out of my way for these.

Re: Barry M Sequin Nails
I'm not a fan of the Sequins but definitely like the Confetti... if only they were more glitter-dense!
Re: Barry M Sequin Nails
Right, I've swatched them all, and done some comparisons with Deborah Lipmann etc. I'm not sold on them to be honest

Re: Barry M Sequin Nails
As I said on your blog, I super disappointed with these. I was really looking forward to them as well!
Re: Barry M Sequin Nails
Absolutely loving the comparisons, but not the polishes I'm afraid. Very tactfully yet honestly blogged though! Thank you.

Re: Barry M Sequin Nails
Thanks so much for swatching these Princess Sossidge, you've saved me some money.
How disappointing though - they actually look like they have a textured finish like Liquid Sand which just doesn't go well with the multi glitter.
