Thanks Sossidge! I bought number 8 but it's very different to the photo on the BP page - in fact the two photos on the same listing are very different! (count in 8 from the first picture which is the picture I saw when I ordered, compare it to the photo beneath with number 8 labelled. This photo doesn't feature on the listings for the individual shades).

No doubt in my mind that the Color Clubs or Laylas trump these spectacularly!

Oh gosh, I'm sure! That's why I felt I have to say I've only ever tried the OMG/Gosh holos as I've probably not experienced a properly amazing holo to comare it with.

I wonder whether your no. 8 is a dud then? I think mine looks fairly similar to theirs. Maybe not as BLUE BLUE though I guess.

It's not a bad colour, I just have better blue Holos so I doubt I'll ever wear it. It was cheap enough so it's no biggie, I'll just be a little cautious with BP swatches in future.
I have a couple of OMGs and I'm sure that at the time they were indeed OMG but as time has passed and new products created I find they've been left behind a bit.
I wholeheartedly recommend the Color Clubs! They'd look amazing on your lovely long nails

Ah thank you. I think even though these aren't the best, they have reminded me how lovely holos are so I should go and maybe treat myself to some Color Clubs in the name of research

I have a LOVELY blue kiko holo that is similar to number 8 that is probably better to be honest, I haven't whacked that out for a while either.

I'd do it soon Sossidge - I don't think this sun will last long!

Is it worth chasing them again or do I request a refund via Paypal?

I would chase again, explain it has now been 5 WEEKS and could they resend/refund?

I think they won't do anything until it has been >4 weeks, and perhaps it wasn't quite 4 weeks when they responded to your last mail? I think they are quite rigid over not believing it is lost until over 4 weeks have passed.

How annoying though

I'd just claim via Paypal Sue, mine was ordered a tad later than yours and I've had it for weeks.  

I think my Born Pretty order last year came within a fortnight. I hope you get your polish or a resolution soon Sue.  

I think I'll email them and tell them I've claimed through Paypal If they re-send and that one gets lost I'll be out of time to claim it back.Bit gutted as I really liked the look of it

I ordered two of these holos a couple of weeks ago. On Sunday I realised I'd not had a despatch email so I went into my account on the website and the order doesn't show on there. It just shows a couple of earlier orders. I did get an order confirmation email and the paypal email so I know the order was placed. Not sure what to make of this now. I've emailed Born Pretty but they've not replied.

I'm puzzled by this, I've ordered loads of stuff from Born Pretty and never had a problem before. What do I do now? Wait a bit longer for a reply or should I raise a dispute with Paypal?

That's a bit weird .If you've paid and your order isn't showing anywhere I think I'd be tempted to claim back through Paypal,especially as they haven't replied to your email. Wonder what's up with them? They didn't respond to Paypal when I opened my dispute with them.

Did you get yours in the end Sue or did you get a refund?

The polish didn't arrive and I got my money back by opening a dispute with Paypal I still want that polish though ! 

They've replied to my email now. Apparently the order was despatched on 30th July. No comment from them re why it doesn't appear in my list of orders though. Very strange. I guess I'll give it a few more days, see if it turns up.

Like you, I really want the polishes. Something's just not right about this though. No despatch email, no sign of it order history

They asked if I'd reveiw stuff for them (not a clue why as I don't have a nail blog ) but as what I paid for didn't arrive I haven't taken them up on the offer! I suppose I could ask to review a holo polish and see if that one arrives?

They never replied to my emails either and I ended up getting my money back via PayPal.

Hmm, interesting...just found an email from Born Pretty in my spam folder from 11hrs ago saying my order has been shipped  ,but when I log into my account it still shows as being despatched on the 5th of June...
I wonder if anything will turn up ?!

Haha. Seems they are more than a little disorganised! My first order came fine but it seems the whole process is rather hit or miss so I've resisted ordering more water decals.

It's all a bit weird,they sent me two despatch emails for the same order yesterday....even though it says despatched in June and I got the refund through Paypal....

Can anyone remember if Born Pretty state on their parcels that they contain polish? I'm thinking of ordering one of their holographic polishes but don't really want to risk it getting destroyed.

They haven't when I've had them.

When I got my holos from them last month the label on the package said something completely different. Like "hair accessories" or something.
