Re: Shopping confession
Wow. My confessions this month are lengthy. After all my London purchases, the dollish polishes, the models own sale I bought the wonderland collection also models own, and now bought some smitten polishes off etsy.

Re: Shopping confession
so far this month, a mate bought me 3 different No 7 ones.
I got the Rimmel precious stones in silver (needs a colour below so i used Nails Inc Black taxi)
Nearly got the Nails Inc Magnetic duos for£12 (fancied blue and red), but then I added graffiti and another magnetic duo and wanted something else to get to £40 for free delivery and thought NOOO. Graffiti can be an easy xmas present for me.
Today's hunt is for GOSH holo and for MUA Constellation in local superdrug.
(oh forgot the Nails Inc crackle set in argos for £7.99. - seems okay, i did silver on black and black on silver)

Re: Shopping confession
Sorry I haven't posted in a while - I was away on a training course and holiday. But I do have to confess to some purchases on my way home from the training course
I flew through Amsterdam, and they had Opi fairly cheap in Duty free, and then also on 3 for 2! And loads to choose from, so I got:
Diva of Geneva, which I've wanted for a while
I'm not really a Waitress
My Private Jet
My Private Jet is the new one - I didn't know there were different versions until I googled after I bought it - but I prefer the new version, and I bought it because I loved the swatch in the shop, so I'm very happy I'm not a huge fan of holo's, sorry

I picked up my latest purchases from M&S today - 4 of their Limited Collection Quick Dry nail polishes in the online sale for £1.00 each delivered free to my local store. The colours I bought were Lilac, Slate Blue, Leaf and Carnation. Bargain!

Re: Shopping confession
I just missed my train this morning, and popped into a shop while waiting for the next one, and got... all except the gold in the new Essence LE Twilight Breaking Dawn collection

I didn't want the gold, but now I've read it's good for stamping, so might pick it up!

Re: Shopping confession
Lady S (and anyone else!) if you want some I can pick up more as I see them for you? - I can post from here, or I'm back in the UK in a few weeks time and can post from there to save on postage.
How are you getting on with sourcing Essence for your shop?

I adore them! So if you do this, how much would it work out for the set? (Minus the gold, not keen on that )

I've never even heard of Essence - is it an American brand?

Re: Shopping confession
Essence is made by the same company that makes Catrice. Cheaper German brand, but it is truly awesome

I picked up the gold today - it's actually good for stamping, though totally unnecessary if you have other golds to stamp with.
Anyway, 3.50CHF each, which is about £2.40. No idea about postage from here, but I'll be in the uk for 5 days from 21st Nov now if that helps.
Btw, not to tempt anyone any further, but found a new Catrice range today, including "Gold Leaf Top Coat" Limited Edition spectaculART! It's not real gold leaf, just a glitter top coat which looks pretty close. For 5CHF, it's a lot cheaper than actual gold leaf top coats
I couldn't find many pics on blogs, so here it is on one thumb taken by me I really like it - this was one quick swipe, loads of glitter came out really easily. Dries slightly rough, but no glitter sticking up. This is over Essence Jacob's Protection.

Happily Which ones do you want - the whole range or just selected ones? Sorry I haven't been online, manic (erm, boozy) weekend and too much work
I have to say I am impressed by the depth of them. Alice had a vision... Again is my favourite. A lovely deep purple with fine purple shimmer with some hot pink and teal! Edward's Love is a darker version of Opi My Private Jet I think.
Sorry essence are being so rubbish for supplying - I really don't get why they seem to not want to be in the UK!

Re: Shopping confession
I decided a few weeks ago that I'm not buying anything until after Christmas (it's also my birthday this month). Erm...but today I bought Barry M Amethyst and Gold Glitter, Collection 2000 Bedazzled in Love Jewel, Models Own Dancing Queen and some MUA caviar beads. And some shoes...

They are gorgeous! I'd love one of each (except the gold, I don't stamp ) if possible

Re: Shopping confession
Having only recently discovered this website, it is not helping my bank account. Having seen someone recommend beautybay, I've just purchased China Glaze Stone Cold and Ruby Pumps (my first China Glaze polishes!!!). The free delivery decided it. I was only going to look, and yet the nail polish seemed to order itself...
