Have to say I have kids. And it winds me up!!!! Everybody is entitled to their holiday when they want it. Not to pushed past cos somebody 'has kids'. Im sorry to say ladies the holiday thing will only get worse. As from September, you cannot take your kids out of school unless its for exceptional circumstances as agreed by the head. The rules will be a lot harsher than they are now. So Im guessing for those without kids trying to get holiday in August is going to be a nightmare.

I have a huge fly bite on my ankle from Tuesday's hike on Dartmoor and it's very red and swollen. It's so inflamed I may actually have to go to the doctor and get it looked at. Crying or Very sad

I was suffering badly with bites a few weeks ago due to too much partying in the middle of the woods!

Though tomorrow I'm having a joint birthday party with my boyfriend's brother... in the woods. lol

I share the sentiment RE: kids, it's not right and that behaviour probably contributes to discrimination against women in the hiring process (adding in the stereotype of the woman doing all the childcare).

It really, REALLY annoys me that my mam NEVER ANSWERS THE DOOR!!! "Oh, I thought it was a cold caller!" Ignoring that the post's due or that I was locked out just now.

Could she have depression or fatigue? I'm not saying it's acceptable but I used to be similar, I'd make plans to try and get out and see people but on the day I couldn't face it and would let people down.
