Don't even think of ordering any Dance Legends then kissmenow :lol:It's been weeks now!
Hope your Seche turns up soon x
Should have been here yesterday, no sign of it :/ Wondering if RM have nabbed it...
Small rant:
I love my BF to pieces but he can be so frigging annoying at times. We're going to my Dads summer ball tonight (RAF) and I've been excited about it for months because they're really good fun; loads of cheap alcohol, loads of free food, plenty of fairground rides and entertainment. For weeks he's been moaning about how he doesn't want to wear a tuxedo, how he doesn't want to wear a cummerband, how he thinks bow ties are stupid (there's a strict dress code and if you aren't wearing what they say, you don't get in/you get kicked out - it's a very formal affair!), how it's going to be boring. He woke me up (!) at 3am last night to moan a little more about how he doesn't want to go. FFS. He's never been to one before, so how does he know that he doesn't want to go? I asked him last week what he thought it would be like and he said he thought it'd be a load of stuffy old men drinking pints in a room with a buffet, which is so far from the truth it's unbelievable. I can tell when he gets home tonight and we get ready there's going to be several 'Oh my god do I still have to wear this stupid cummerband?' moments at which point I may throttle him with the bugger. It's cost me £90 to get him what he needs to wear sorted and my parents have paid our tickets which are £50 each, there's no frigging way he's backing out now.
He was the same last Christmas, spent the entire day in a sulk because he didn't feel well and he didn't want to take part in our Christmas traditions. Really pisses me off.
Re: What annoys you?
I'd take your best mate instead and have a blast!
Hell, give me a couple of hours to get my hair done and me frock on and ya mo be there!
Sounds like an amazing night, don't let the miserable sod ruin it for you!

I agree wholeheartedly with Loola.
I'd go with you, I reckon it would be a blast and I could do with a good laugh right now!

Re: What annoys you?
thats such a shame Kissme. I used to be like that when I was younger, hated dressing up, even hated fancy dress in both the formal ball dress stuff and the halloween type dressing up. But once I stopped moaning and went with the flow and stopped worrying what an idiot i might look like - I loved it!
and at a work ball I went to once, I deliberately wore a simple short black Friday night style dress. I stuck out like a sore thumb and made me feel even worse.
Tell him to man up and that he will look even more fanciable tonight!

Re: What annoys you?
It was a really fun night... and after some cajoling he had a good time I thought. Seemed to enjoy himself (And the free drinks!) but then tonight we had a bit of an argument and he apparently hated every minute of it. I don't know what his problem is, but his attitude to everything is pissing me off.

Did he say why he 'hated every minute' whist enjoying the free drink?!!

No, he enjoyed it whilst he was there. (The free drinks were left out for everyone in ice buckets, included in ticket price).
He only had about 3 hours sleep Thursday night and then last night we didn't get in til half 3 so again he only got in about 4.5 hours before he had to get up for work. My parents did a BBQ tonight as my sister and her fiance (the last time I'll see her as an unmarried woman!) are staying til tomorrow morning so we went up there this evening. 9pm and he wants to go home as he's falling asleep on the sofa and has a headache so I suggest I blow off my best mates birthday drinks out and just go back to the flat with him and we go to bed. Get a taxi back and he announces that he's going to see his mate and he'll be back at 1am. Upshot is I came home early from my parents for no good reason, am sitting on my own watching The Million Pound Drop and he's pissed off out.
Re: What annoys you?
Oooh, the cheeky bugger! I'd be tempted to lock him out and go to bed...!

Wow that sounds bang out of order, I would be seriously pissed off if DH did that to me!
Sounds like he enjoys stuff if it is his idea, sorry you are feeling low over it.
Basically... He doesn't like being told what plans are.

Men annoy me. I don't understand any of them, they all just seem to let me down.

Re: What annoys you?
hotel room service that is over priced and tastes of nothing :(even though work is paying it irks me. I fancied using the hotel pool facilities instead of making small talk with colleagues I'll probably never see again but maybe I should have made the effort for better food.

The fact that my neighbours never bother to come round for parcels we take in for them.I currently have a wind break and a box of wine in my hallway !(and they've had a card through the door so they know they're here!)
