Me too Annita, and agree it's an odd and crap thing to have to go through at 23  . Is it herniated discs in your spine perhaps?

I just got an email from Apple inviting me to pre-order the new iPhones, and guess how much the "cheap" version is? £469.

I assure you that I choked out of sheer appreciation. Finally, the iPhone has become accessible to paupers like me with only £469 of free income floating around in our bank accounts!

I've got a Palm Treo they stopped making over 9 years ago! And at work I've got a nokia 9210 that again is well out of date. Not only am I happy with them both I have procured spares for if/when they die!

My OH when I met him on had a PAYG go phone. He had to buy credit to text me to ask me out!!

Anyway I quickly got fed up of him not calling or texting due to having no credit so we got him a contract phone quite sharpish! Then he kept forgetting it and not taking it out!!

Hacked me off no end. Then the 3gs came out and he realised he'd look 'cool' with an iphone. We've never looked back. He can even use app's now, and transferred money to me the other day using the barclays app, all by himself!!!

I'm getting him trained!!

I can't stand Apple and their "trendy" rip off devices personally, I much prefer Android.  I have the Samsung Galaxy S4 and love it.  

I hate feeling cold. I've given in and just put the heating on.

Yep - agree with that, apple is just style over substance. I've got the S3 - little bit out of date, but perfectly fine (and most importantly, a free upgrade )

I'm an apple fan. Its more than stylish looking technology. The mac OS back a few years ago was vastly more advanced than Windows XP and Vista was a mistake and the new windows have more of the Mac OS functionality in them now. But it took MS a while to catch up.

Serious question - on an android phone if you use wifi texting, do they show on your PC or tablet? i.e. if someone on an iphone sends me a text message and I'm on WIFI it comes over the wifi free, rather than a text (its a blue message rather than a green message) - and if I'm on my laptop or ipad the message comes up on there and I can reply from the laptop or ipad. I'm loving the novelty of this at the moment, I am amused easily. So is this the same on windows phones and tablets?

Oh and today I hate GP's.

OH asking me to read through a draft letter and then getting annoyed when I point out spelling errors or suggest alternative wording.  Why ask me?!?  

I'm not defending windows - vista is probably the worst OS I've ever used, with the possible exception of windows mobile  

As for wifi texting on Android Ninja, I have no idea - I'm not a big texter, or a big user of wifi

I'm always a bit annoyed by people who slag off Apple and Apple fans, we all like what we like, I don't take too kindly to being called a trendy hipster.

I just find the iPhone the easiest to use.

I have nothing against apple fans - and I certainly didn't mean to annoy anyone by slagging off apple, so really sorry if I did. You're right - we all like what we like, and I'm just saying they're not for me.

I just like pointing out that in the stylish casing is/was some technology that was streets ahead of the windows offerings and the new windows does strike a huge resemblance to what the mac OS has looked like for years. I had to use Mac's at Uni about 16 years ago, as Mac's were not only better for designers but for analysing stats and sciency stuff as well.

Its like religion and politics - always going to be a bit controversial.

Sorry Mmmmchocolate, wasn't aimed at you! It's just something I see and hear a lot, don't like being called a hipster based on my choice of phone. Trendy, I am anything but that lol

I'm so upset - we have a new neighbour on our private road who moved in last year and who is now causing a great deal of distress to everyone else on the road at the moment. We've received a letter from her already accusing us of moving her fence and she's just put another one through the door accusing us of planting on what she sees as her land.   

I hate confrontation and I know OH is going to go absolutely ballistic when he sees the letter.
