I got some Deborah Lippmanns (three for £5), China Glazes, Technics and an Orly from TK Maxx. Love that place! Very Happy

I have some holographic Laylas on their way from Amazon, I had a £15 voucher from doing surveys and thought why not. Razz

Zoya pixie dust in Liberty was a beautiful blue sand/glitter textured polish. It had such great coverage that I could have got away with one coat if I'd been careful, and it got a great shine with topcoat.

But, the staining. Dear God, the staining when I took the polish off. Not so much on my nails it has to be said, but it was bad on my skin. I even put a good layer of cuticle oil on before I started to take the polish off, for all the good it did. I ended up using loads of removed, then a layer of pumice foot scrub, then almond oil, then more scrub, then soap. Then ALL the hand cream in the house.

It's quite put me off the polish.

Having tried to cut down on purchases and have just been paid (fatal) I ended up buying too many!
China Glaze Iridescent Top Coat, loads of cheap L'Oreals from Cosmetic Fairy, Barbara Daly Christmas Duo from Tesco, 2 Miss Sporty glitter tops, the 3 M&S limited edition polishes (1 glitter 2 texture), a few cheap glitters from Primark and some cheapo Rimmels.

Major fail last night ordered the 4 new a-England polishes and 3 Dance Legends.

Had to 'fess up to Mr geekybat he was like "FFS", as our central heating had just gone that afternoon and it really needs fixed. Winters are cold up here you know and we are currently shower/bathless Sad

I said those would be last orders until next payday affraid

I'm the poor sod that needs to pay for the CH. He didn't go for the "we can wear more clothes" justification Rolling Eyes

Thanks. I was hoping for someone in the UK as I the postage from the US is so flaky, I may succumb if I don't find it some other way eventually!

Ordered from there before. Takes a while to arrive, but arrives very well packed and they are good to deal with.

Thanks geeky. I'd avoided looking as I thought some people had huge problems with going direct. I'll have to see if anyone wants to share I think as I really do only want one and it doesn't seem worth the postage.

In the last month I've finally managed to get some of the Revlon Chroma Chameleons from Poundland, plus I got a couple of Deborah Lippmanns from TKMaxx and I've just treated myself to a few bits from Sally Magpies. Very Happy

Ordered 3 of the new Gwen Stefani OPIs - the two satin ones and the chrome one. Wasn't fussed by the others.

I'd definitely recommend the 170 Thermal - its the most dramatic & impressive thermal I've tried.
My problem is there's just too much choice! I'll have to have a look and do some swatch googling.

Oh BTW the website says they are closed till 9th Jan.
