Olympia Beauty Fest- lets meet up!!!

So- Olympia beauty is this big ol' trade show in London. Lots of bloggers go and they always come back with TONS of amazing polishes (people like china glaze and OPI debut the new lines there). It seems to only be open to trade usually, but this time you can apply for tickets online- i just put my job description as 'nail community member' and I got a ticket emailed to me

Tickets are free is you book them using the link above. I know London is a while away for a few peeps, but if anyone's interested- I thought it would be great for our first forum meet-up! Anyone interested?

Sorry Laura I don't usually pay attention to these things as I didn't think there was any chance of normal plebs getting tickets. It's on the 22nd and 23rd of Sept just in case anyone's wondering.

Argh I so want to but can't justify it financially - I can get there cheap enough by coach but factor in accommodation and everything

Yeah, same for me. Everything is always in bloomin' London! (Which was great when I lived there, but not so much now, lol.)

I got a ticket! yay but not sure I can make it yet woe

am supposed to be at the boat show the 22nd and busy the 21st so not sure I can shift it. Will let you know!

Oh man I might not be able to make it either! The earliest train from Leeds on Sunday gets in at 12:30- by which time all the good stuff will be gone, and I'm not keen on getting a hotel room... I'll have to decide today- bloody public transport!!

are there any other beauty shows on in the year and doesn't have to be London? we could plan for another one?

I'm going with my sister on the Sunday, as we'd already planned to see Punchdrunk's The Drowned Man (immersive theatre) which is over the same side of London, later in the evening.

Blimey ,there'll be nothing left for anyone else  ! I could get there  but I know I won't have lots to spend which will just pee me off! Then again,I've just agreed to do a Guides sponsored walk that day with my youngest...

Is anyone else going then? I'm going to drive to my sister's in Redhill on the Saturday night and we'll hop on the train in the morning to get there earlyish. It's going to be a bit odd for me really, I rarely spend more than an hour devoid of children.

I don't recall song lyrics but I do recall that you should tell sid...

Not sure yet but I might be there too.  Last year my hairdresser Louise got us tickets but we didn't go becuae her father ended up in hospital.  A ticket has just appeared through the post for this one unasked!
But with my Dad just out of hospital and all the trecking up and down I'm not sure I have the oomph, plus Louise is really busy and not that well.  So I'm a definite maybe;)
Mmm.  Not sure how a no buy in September works if I go to this
