LLarowe - good? bad? indifferent?
I thought I'd posted this as a new topic earlier but seems I hadn't!
I'm considering ordering plates from here and wondered if any of you had used them and could comment on them as suppliers?

Re: LLarowe - good? bad? indifferent?
Well I decided to just give it a go so have an order for the two big plates, two of the small ones and a stamper on the way.
I really wanted the big ones becuase the all over designs are supposed to be much bigger than most. When they finally arrive I will report back.
I did ask about the issue of paying VAT first and they said they always ship saying its $10 (naughty naughty). So we will see what happens.

Re: LLarowe - good? bad? indifferent?
I've ummm'd and ahhhh'd about ordering for a while. I've got her as a 'like' on Facebook and she seems nice but shipping times are a little long.
Re: LLarowe - good? bad? indifferent?
I have recently ordered from there for the first time. Took 10 days to receive an email saying it was shipped. But it was the only place who had what I wanted in stock so ho hum. Had to go with it.
Must admit I think she is a bit of a drama queen and forgets she has a business, not a group of mates she is doing favours for. But so long as I get my product I am happy

I did think it all read as a bit odd on facebook and wondered how long it would take for my order to be sorted let alone shipped. However I got an email saying it had shipped late last night so maybe things are improving - I shall report back!

Re: LLarowe - good? bad? indifferent?
So they arrived today - can't complainat that at all!! Aug 30 to Sep 7 from the US seems pretty good.
The full nail stamps are HUGE
I did also get a parcel of 3 nail varnishes that wasn't meant for me - wrongly addressed - meant for someone in Malta. I have emailed Llarowe to tell them but I can't see much point in returning them as the contents are only worth $28 and the postage will eat most of that so I will see what they say.

Re: LLarowe - good? bad? indifferent?
Llawroe seem to be having a bit of a sale on if you guys want to check it out....
Re: LLarowe - good? bad? indifferent?
She has negotiated different prices with her suppliers, she said on twitter.
Think the problem is with all the drama, difficulties, lack of shipping people have been moving to other cheaper suppliers.

Well I've only ordered the once so not a large sample but I had no problems.
OTOH the other lady whose package I also got might not be so happy! Llarowe have never responded so I'm about to assume the three polishes are mine and swatch them!

Ive ordered from Llarowe loads of times, the most recent was on 16th Nov and it has shipped on 21st Nov. It usually takes about 8 days from when i get the shipping notification for it to arrive at my door

I have ordered a couple of times
My orders have arrived quickly enough but the shipping has just gone up A LOT!! I was so pleased with my large stamping plate though - the images are indeed big enough to cover pretty much anyone's nail! The extra large stamper I ordered is useless though - the silicone stamp bit keeps falling out grrr

Re: LLarowe - good? bad? indifferent?
I have ordered multiple times in the past and it was usually 8-10 days for my order to get here. Recently all I have been coveting were some jade holos that I don't have and enchanted polish. Now we have Sally's to get them from and I got my enchanted polishes (which are permanently out of stock) from meimeisignatures to my door in 7 days! Think llarowe will be getting a wide berth from now on x

I find that the launch frenzy tends to mean that it's not worth bothering to try to get a newly released polish. One of my orders took nearly two weeks just to be despatched- I have a credit to use up and once I've spent that I'm out too.

Re: LLarowe - good? bad? indifferent?
Postage is horrible now. I do research to see what other suppliers are available for what I want. For the new Hares I'm waiting for Shoppe in Singapore to get them in. They reckon early April.
Re: LLarowe - good? bad? indifferent?
I've just placed an order for 3 jades that I have been desperate for, I'm expecting it to take 2 weeks, poor I know but I will update when they arrive!

Given her reputation as something of a drama queen, I've given Llarowe a wide berth!

Re: LLarowe - good? bad? indifferent?
Well I emailed llarowe last night as when looking at my purchased items they said paid but status was unfulfilled. So I wanted to know what this actually meant. I got a reply back saying my order would be shipped tomorrow! A whole week after my order was placed! How hard is it to pick, pack and send! Really put me off using them

Re: LLarowe - good? bad? indifferent?
On the plus side, they did refund me straight away for the extra large stamper i complained about. Really shouldn't be selling one that the stamp part keeps falling out of though lol

Re: LLarowe - good? bad? indifferent?
I think their postage can be slow, but something was said about them moving premises last week, so maybe that's the reason

Re: LLarowe - good? bad? indifferent?
Typical now iv no money lol
I don't doubt she's working her socks off, an email a day or two after purchase to warn about a weeks back log on shipping would have sufficed.
They'll be here soon enough! X

I totally get your frustration though- quick enough to take your money but laid about about dispatch.
