I love the Etude House Sweet Recipe polishes, the bottles are just so adorable! I've been trying to get hold of them for a while now, but the prices on eBay seem to have gone up a bit. I really like those Maybelline Polka Dots polishes as well. Very Happy

The etudes and maybellne look so cute, wonder if my local boots will get them in. I was very impressed with the wine shimmer I bought the other day.

Ah thank you 😊

I got the Etudes in a mixture of eBay and Amazon purchases. They did have them fairly cheap on Amazon as a set but then £22 P&P Laughing As if! So I think I just got the minty one in the end from Amazon, and the rest eBay.

Its just the mint choc chip I want and I *think* I've managed to order some from here: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Although the mint is now showing as out of stock so I wonder if I really will get one.
I searched high and low. Nothing on amazon UK or US and everywhere else on ebay sold out!

If you're a size 7 I could probbly keep you going a while with my collection of often unworn or barely worn shoes I can't bear to throw but will never wear!
Vodka not so much, but Tesco is quite close!

I've had a paypal invoice as I requested (may have had to purchaes a peel off basecoat whilst I was there) so I have to assume they have the polish I ordered. I shall be most unamused if they don't!

Laughing I am a size 8, but I also have a collection of mis-purchased size 7's thinking I could squeeze into them. (Answer: No)

I think they took about 10 days to get to me so hopefully you will get it soon!

Been there done that - I think as I get older and fatter I'm now a 7.5 or even and 8 in some boots, and 6.5s are just a no go. Except in MBTs which seem to conform to no sizing rule of other shoes.

YOU are the worst influence on here. I never wanted any of these before. In my head Jelly = watery and thin and not worth having. but now - I want at least 3 of those.

Sorry! Shocked Laughing Normally jelly polishes are (and I'm really not a fan, I don't need see-through polish, my nails are so stained anyway, it would look awful!) but the Barry M ones are supposed to just give them impression of a Gel manicure (so glossy and long lasting). You do probably need them.

I quite often get nail mail and it's like a surprise pressy becuase I've forgotten what I've ordered Laughing

These are the feather effect polishes. I've just used them as a topper rather than building them up. I've only gone for two out of the five (rare show of restraint) because I'm sure the rest are the same as the invogue feathers ones.

And the blue and yellow from the Maquillage BLVD are lovely. But I do NOT need any more dark blue polish!

Hehe! I will go and follow you too Smile

When I do swatches, I just do the one hand and then take it straight off again after I've photographed it and just keep going until I'm done/until it gets too late, I usually save the colour I think I will like the most until last so I then do both hands and do some nail art (so I don't look like weird walking round the next day with odd hands!). It is pretty time consuming though Laughing I get home from work at 6pm and just keep going (in between making dinner and eating dinner).

Now that's dedication Sossidge! How often do you have a night off?
Does all the removing have any detrimental effect on your nails (condition)? How about the cuticles, they're as perfect as your nails, what's your secret?!!!!
Total admiration from me Very Happy

Post  Princess Sossidge Thu Jun 06, 2013 8:18 pm

I don't often have a night off :no life: Generally if I've got loads of stuff to swatch I'll try and get that done during the week, then say Saturday (If I am going out) I'll just do one manicure that day, then if I haven't got any plans Sunday sometimes I'll try and get a few different bits of nail art done.

I think I am quite lucky in that my nails are quite resilient so they are in good condition (although STAINED ALL KINDS OF COLOURS Laughing ) and my cuticles seem to stay ok too. They only thing I do is slather my hands in hand cream a lot (I work at a PC and have a big tube of cream so I just do that a couple of times a day, it's a bit of an OCD habit Laughing ) and before my last manicure of the day I make sure everything is totally cleaned off properly, I put cuticle oil on my cuticles (I use the superdrug one and thats only about £3 and really good) and rub all that in.

ninja! I think you might have to accidentally take a trip into both shops. Have you tried the MO neons yet? I have tried pink punch (that's the one in the black/white/polka dot/bow mani above) and I've got the purple one on my fingers at the mo, they are really nice. I havne't bought any of the others as I've definitely got enough neon greens & yellows.

Definitely! To be honest, I'd avoid their chunky glitter (Splash/Mirrorball collections), as it's quite gloopy/difficult to get decent placement, which is a shame as they look BEAUTIFUL in the bottle, but not so great on my nails... but all their other polishes are lovely.

The MBLVD neon yellow is so flipping amazing, I am going to try it again soon, it was SUPER BRIGHT and opaque in one coat, and not at all streaky.
