Me too, I hate how much effort it takes and it can end up looking pants! This is so much easier (and far less messy!)

What's the wear time like? Having a thought to use my holographics to create something a bit different, if I do though topcoat usage would be an issue.

It's difficult for me to say to be honest as I change my polish every day pretty much Laughing However when I did the yellow/blue/green one I had that on for a couple of days. The filing downwards over the edge keeps it sealed on though.

Also, polish doesn't tend to chip that much on me either anyway (but I am always top coating). I think if you do it thick enough it should be fine; ALSO, (you might already know this) but I find a matte top coat as a base is excellent for stopping holo's chipping. GOSH holo chipped horrendously on me (the original one from a couple of years ago) but with a matte basecoat it lasted about 4 days with no chips before I took it off.

That looks really cool. Very Happy The topcoat has made the feathers look a lot darker though.

Those black, gold and white nails are stunning Surprised I bought myself a bag of feathers the other week to play with, but I haven't got round to it yet (still haven't finished the February challenge...oops).

Yeah, the topcoat does dim the feathers down a bit, I might try feathers with more colour and less black in them next time.

Some ideas for nail art with textured polishes (I am trying to make these work! Laughing )

Yes, very! I'm a sucker for sparkles and I'm desperate to order something from Shimmer Polish. The postage from the USA puts me off a bit though. Neutral

I normally try and club together with a few friends to save on the costs, Lush Lacquer and Pretty & Polished are usually quite reasonable for postage I think though.

I am having a giveaway on my blog at the moment so do enter. Prize is a $20 Born Pretty Store gift card

Much better than the flocked version I have seen with it because it will stay textured rather then fluff away like the flocked manicures. Now I am lemming thr blue one to see if adding it to pink will create a lilac colour to do a monsters inc themed mani.
