I like Nudes, but only when I can stamp on the top of them, or coat them in glitter. Think that kinda stops them being nudes.

I also dislike the crystal nail file. I'd rather use a cheapy one I can chuck away after a couple uses. I did buy a few glass ones to keep in the car and my bag though so that they're there for emergencies. But I prefer a normal basic one


Not a fan of nudes, i'm too pale for them. They make me look ill.

I like those 4 for £1 manicure blocks.

I've never liked emery - could only just bare the black fine ones. A matchbox would make me scream!

I looooove my Leighton Denny and have a small one in my bag too. I can't stand to cut my nails and I can actually file them down quickly with these - doing it all wrong back and forth sawing like a mad woman!

If anyone wants rid of theirs I'm happy to have spares and swap for every emery board in the house - some of which are untouched! Oh and I have a curvy emery - that made me shudder too!

Oh & I don't like nude either, in fact I don't like really pale unless its somethign unnatural like blue or green! Pale pink, pale fawn, white. All look a bit flesh like and ick to me.

I don't like cutting my nails with scissors either, but it takes so long to just file them down. I also detest nail clippers - the thought of using them on my fingernails makes me feel ill.

With the Leighton Denny, if you file like crazy it really doesn't take too long - its much much more effective than an emery file. If I actually have to cut I use cuticle nippers and take chunks off rather than trying to cut across in one go - I get the heebygeebies my nail will split up the middle if I cut across in one. I use clippers on my toes - mainly coz I can't bend like I used to for long enough to do much else;)

not a huge OPI fan either - similar range of colours with China Glaze which is at half the price. I don't have a problem with either chipping or the quality.

And I'm over the textures, concrete, leather, feathers, sand, egg shells, cotton wool, muddy field, cactus... (ok I made the last 3 up) - but enough - most of the sand swatches I have seen, seem to add tons of top coat and make it a glitter anyway. I'm a sucker for glitter bombs tho.
